  1. Canucks roster year end grades

I’m not sure why so many posters are ranking Liepsic higher than Virtanen. Obviously their not looking st Liepsic whole season which has been mostly terrible. So if the judgement is only going to be on his 2 months in Vancouver then it’s only fair to rate Virtanen on his last 2 months. Virtanen has one of the Canucks best player in the last two months. I feel posters are using preconceived opinions of Virtanens play in their judgement of him.
  2. Motte is going down. Gaudette needs a year in Utica. Liepsic not convince he deserves a spot, needs to earn it in camp. Virtanen definitely deserves to be there. Petterson needs to earn it as well, hope he makes it. Either one of Baertschi or Grandlund will be moved. The players who deserve it will make it. Having more talent in Utica for injuries is always helpful.
  3. THIS IS THE DAY, Canucks get #7

Not sure what the cough Virtanen comments are about. If you haven’t noticed, he’s been one of our best players in the last month. He’s progressing in the right direction and will be very valuable player especially when we do make it back to the dance. Speed, size and improving skill is what shins in the playoffs. How about watching what he has been doing lately instead of what your perception of the player he’s going to be from 2 years ago.

Isn't Jim Benning in Buffalo watching the world juniors
  5. 2017-2018 line up (with what we have)

Seeing Sedin Vanek Beartchi Horvat Boeser Gagner Granlund Erickson Dorsett/Burmistrov Sutter Virtanen Dorsett/Burmistrov Edler Tanev DeZotto Gudbranson Hutton Stetcher Pouliot Biega Mrakstrom Nilson
  6. 2017-2018 line up (with what we have)

At this exact moment I would say the line up should be. Sedin Sedin Sutter Gagner Horvat Boeser Beartchi Grandlund Vanek Erikson Bruminstrov Virtanen Dorsett in a little time Sedin Sedin Virtanen Gagner Horvat Boeser Beartchi Granlund Vanek Erickson Sutter Dorset Bruminstrov
  7. [Official] 2017 Training Camp Thread

Some people have been saying Boeser on the Sedin line. Yes he's smart but his speed is not where it needs to be. I also liked the beartchi grandlund vanek line. I would like to see. Sedin Sedin Sutter Gagner Horvat Boeser Beartchi Grandlund Vanek Erikson Brumstrov Virtanen Dorset Virtanen does well then he can go on the Sedin line, he has the speed and Sutter can center the fourth line of Erickson Sutter Dorset.
  8. Preseason GDT/PGT Vancouver-Edmonton Friday Septmber 22nd @6:00 PST

For those who are still having troubles watching the game. Oilers.nhl.com works
  9. Preseason GDT/PGT Canucks vs Flames Sept. 20th 6:00pm

Virtanen back check and the goal they didn't count was awesome. He's got an amazing shot and now working his ass off on the back check
  10. Preseason GDT/PGT Canucks vs Golden Knights Sept. 17th 2:00pm

    Goldobin has been invisible
  11. Preseason GDT/PGT Canucks vs Golden Knights Sept. 17th 2:00pm

The good news is Broeser And Virtanen look good and Megna and Holm look bad so hopefully they do not make the team.
  12. Hopes for 2017-18

I actually agree Hutton should be traded and protect Sibsa. Joulevi will more than replace Hutton but you can't replace Sibsa Physical play. Expose Biega and Dorsett.
  13. It's fair. Shouldn't be granted top pick for sucking. Trading Hansen and Burrows was a sign they were tanking. Tanking sucks and we deserve to loose the lottery for trying to tank.
  14. I'm surprised that no one is mentioning that LV may be interested in picking up Dorsett. He foes bring a element that is hard to find, someone willing to stick up for his teammates. Sibisa rarely drops the gloves. That is why Gudbranson is being protected over Sibisa and the fact he shoots right. Tryamkin replaces what Sibisa brings.
