  1. I can’t imagine Tanev being dealt if injured. What else would a team like TO want off our roster?
  2. [Trade] DET trade G Petr Mrazek to PHI

I know Holland’s nephew. Says Mrazek is a head case. Horrible work ethic. Just disengaged as a professional all around. Wings were hoping Vegas would take him. This is is pretty good value imo.
  3. Sign Gudbranson. Maximize assets for Tanev and Hutton. Shop for veteran D via UFA.
  4. That’s a fair point, I just don’t think his value is very high considering that his numbers are horrible and he’s incredibly inconsistent. Better options out there imo, or within other organizations
  5. Eddie Lack got a late 3rd and a 7th. He was playing better than Nilsson. Best case scenario for Nilsson is a 4th or 5th imo.
  6. Im happy to bring up Demko, so long that he gets some games. I dont think it would break him. Hes ready for the next level imo.
  7. Gudbranson + Nilsson for Laughton + 2nd + 4th
  8. Tanev and the Islanders seem like they would be a match. This is a move that would clearly speak to Tavares, and bringing in Tanev wouldn't break the cap... To NYI: Christopher Tanev, Ben Hutton, Thomas Vanek To Vancouver: Casey Czikas, Ryan Pulock, Kieffer Bellows, 2018 1st (the lesser of the two picks), 2018 4th
  9. CDC Puck 2017/18

With the last slew of moves and extensions, the New Jersey Devils are excited to ice a roster that contains a good mix of kids and veterans and fully believe will be in the playoff mix next season. Thank you to all the GMs whom have patiently negotiated, and to the players that have had to deal with the significant turnover. That being said, we are extremely happy to ice a cap controlled roster that will see a solid influx of youth over the next couple of seasons. Zetterberg Eichel Atkinson Duchene Carter Dadonov Eriksson Strome Nieto Andrighetto Dowd Lehkonen Versteeg Klefbom Spurgeon Goligoski Ceci Honka Jensen Ouellet Smith Mason Pickard Mascherin Mattheos Juulsen Nedeljkovic Sulak 2018 1st (Edm) 2018 2nd (Min)
  10. I have a feeling the Canucks are in on Chris Kreider I wonder if they could get him for a combination of Baertschi, Hutton, Goldobin, or Gudbranson?
  11. This doesn’t make them “buyers”. The Canucks were clearly going to be looking for a dorsett replacement. this is going to be a hockey trade, not a rental with future assets required.
  12. I don’t believe Tanev is going anywhere. I’m hoping someone steps up to the plate, but I do think the ask will be too high for a guy who’s unhealthy as often as he is. I would take a 1st and a prospect without question.
  13. CDC Puck 2017/18

New Jersey has playoff bound Cam Atkinson on the trade block. Seeking a forward prospect and a 2nd round pick.
  14. ? Points From A Guaranteed #4 Draft Pick.

I hated hearing management using the excuse of injuries... yes injuries derailed the team, but they’ve gotten worse as players have come back. Real story line that Benning and Linden failed to address: Goaltending. 1st third of the year the Canucks had exceptional and somewhat consistent netminding from both their tenders. December on has been nothing but inconsistent play and softies galore. Imo this should be one of the focuses as the season finishes out... Is either of the current goalies worthy of keeping around for next season? In in any case, I feel like Demko will be the back up tender to start next season.
