Dr. J. is interested in being appointed the Canucks' team philosopher. He is willing to entertain serious offers from Mike Gillis.
  1. Vancouver's lineup looks like a pre-season lineup -- half NHLers and half AHLers who haven't been sent down yet. Too bad the other half of the NHLers aren't playing another pre-season game in San Jose.
  2. Typical Daniel Sedin goal: he gets cross-checked in the back after scoring it and there is no penalty.
  3. I don't think much of Kassian, but it really hurts to see him playing, and playing in Edmonton, and all the Canucks got from him was half a season of Prust. As I say, no fan of Kassian -- but he is better than that return. Why is Prust so unengaged? He sees the writing on the wall. The Canucks are on a youth movement and he has no place here. Next season, the Sedins may be the only forwards over 30. (Hansen will be 30 and Burrows may be back, but...)
  4. Can't stay away.

      Missed me too much?

  5. Jensen is likely to stay in Sweden after (if) the lockout ends: http://www.vancouversun.com/sports/Vancouver+Canucks+prospect+Nicklas+Jensen+likely+remain+Sweden+even+lockout+ends+2011+first/7440737/story.html I think that this is a mistake. He is tearing up the elite league -- why couldn't he make the Canucks? I would hate to see some plug get a job when Jensen is ready, willing and able to play.
  6. Seriously? Even if you are back playing hockey, I am not certain that I will be watching.

  7. I want to see Gillis do his job and bring in some good players for one of the goalies.

  8. Still hates the trade, even if Hodgson has done nothing in Buffalo.

I still hate people talking about it - irks me to no end :P

  9. Would like to know what Mike Gillis was thinking.

  10. Would like to see some more regulation time victories. In fact, I wouldn't mind a few laughers.

Was there ever any doubt :)

  12. Would like to see the Canucks back in first place in the Northwest. Where they belong.

  13. Well, I didn't get my hope. Now I am hoping that it won't be a slow November.

  14. I hope that the Canucks can avoid another slow October.
