  1. Thank You Jim Benning.

we are all entitled to our opinions, whether we're homers or unhomers. whether we appreciate managements attempt at rebuilding our team or more upset that they haven't made this team in record time or in our image. until we are allowed to build this team, some of us gm's will never be happy. i guess the louder we complain, the quicker our prospects will make it to the nhl. chill out fellow hobo's.
  2. Thank You Jim Benning.

the rebuild was only started 2 seasons ago. we now have some really good prospects that need time to develop their skills in the nhl. they wanted to rebuild slowly and still be competitive. injuries and rushing some prospects derailed that plan. now they want to rebuild and have the right support players to help them be successful. the fear was always that fans couldn't support a rebuild. that has shown to be true. some of us are see what might be, where others look for why it will never work or finished in their time frame. rebuilds take time.
  3. Thank You Jim Benning.

yes, i agree, the canucks should win the stanley cup every year, during their rebuild. fans shouldn't have to suffer the humiliation of a losing season or two during that time. their every draft pick should make the club in their draft year and excel immediately. that shouldn't be too much to ask of jim and trev. hell, all of us cdc'ers could do it all in one year. we don't care if the players develop at their own speed. as long as we're happy, there is always more draft picks where they come from. our way is musical gm's, coaches and players until we're so excited, we'll explode with joy.
  4. i'm thinking of giving up my license in two months and giving my malibu to my grandson.  probably will be hard to do but i plan on it anyway.

but, i like to be a back seat driver. does it have seat belts or just belt of crown royal?

  5. Jake Virtanen | #18 | RW

my thought on jake is, he may be perfect as the speed and muscle, riding shotgun for pettersson and dahlen. then bo could stay with brock and have gadj as their muscle. love to see leipsic, gaudette and lind together. jake wouldn't have to think too much. just get in on the forecheck, get the puck to the swedes and then get in front of the net. the new burrows.
  6. Thank You Jim Benning.

i agree with you, i think he is doing a great job too. it is great to be a canuck fan.
  7. i haven't got the foggiest idea. maybe after this season or next, we can answer that question.

  10. Benning, Goldobin, and a logjam of forwards?

imo, the six G's will determine, who is up and who is down. gagner, gaunce, goldobin, granlund, gaudette and gadjovich. other guys vying for work up are, pettersson, dahlen, lind and leipsic. i don't see, archibald, boucher, motte, macewen or palmu starting up. these are good decisions to have.
  11. every time i think of trump, i think of a sinatra song. it goes, i've been a puppet, a poet, a pirate, a pawn and a king. should so say, a jerk.

rate the top lines in nhl history, if you feel up to it. if not just tell us your favourite line in nhl history. i'ld like to know where howe/lindsay and delvecchio rank on your list?
  13. Nikolay Goldobin | #77 | LW/RW

i agree, but i'm ready to be proven wrong.
