    on 650, they think that JB is planning to take a d man in the first round. apparently he said, they believe that they can get a good defenseman with their first pick.

      after juolevi, i don't think we are too flush on the left side either. maybe brisebois. d-men who may not be long term d here are edler, del zotto, hutton, tanev, gudbranson, biega or pouliot. defines is our greatest need. i guess they could take a forward and trade a core piece for a core d-man.

      you see "BPA" a lot but outside of usually just the top 2 or 3 guys its a crap shoot. If we're out of the top 4 in this draft, but in the top 10 by all means pick a RHD out of that group regardless of the Fs who are left.

      last year the defensemen taken 2nd and 3rd over all came out of nowhere in the last weeks before the draft. 

      we could definitely use svechnikov, zadina or thachuk, but if a d-man ends up close to them in ability, i can see us taking a boqvist or bouchard,
