Well this season can't finish fast enough. But with all the blame going around with people wanting to fire Gillis and Torts which both makes sense, but where is Henrik Sedin. The guy is the captain of the team and you hardly hear anything from him. I love this team but I am getting sick and tired of the team playing with no heart.

This is an unbelievable trade for the Canucks. A lot of people believe that Markstrom could be the next big thing when it comes to goalies. I am also sad to see Luongo go but it is definitely for the best, Luongo was nothing but a professional. I am aware Gillis has caused a lot of damage but he was able to do something that a lot of people thought he couldn't do.

I am starting to think Torts was the wrong choice, I mean this team can't handle being called out. It is really sad to see this team have no desire, that 3rd period was a joke they didn't even move at all.

People complain that he gave out NTC which i agree that is hurting the team but don't think the players asked for the NTC because they like it in Vancouver? I agree Gillis has made some bad moves, but what GM hasn't, at the same time Gillis has also done some good for the team as well. The thing that bugs me about Gillis is that he is unwilling to budge on what he thinks his players are worth. Which makes it very hard for other GM to talk trade with him. I still think Gillis has done a good job so far, it isn't his fault that the team hasn't played with any heart for the pass 3 years. Everyone asking for another top 6 six forward, those type of trades are hard to make when you have nothing really to trade back, I don't want to see any draft picks or are prospect pool to get thinner just for a top 6 forward.

I couldn't agree more. Although the past 10 years has been the best time to be a Canuck fan as they have actually been kinda of successful. The worst was in the 90s those were some bad years, so with the recent struggle you had to realize that the Canucks couldn't keep playing at a high level especially with all the injuries and fact that this team doesn't have "It" anymore.

I don't think this is a great trade nor a bad trade, I kinda think both players just cancel each another out. Diaz is as soft as it gets for Dman so I wonder how he will fit in Torts system. Weise had his good games but at the end of the day he was just a fourth liner so The Canucks aren't giving up a ton. I am interested to see if there is a bigger deal coming from this trade although having a lot of Dman isn't that bad of an idea.

Canucks seem to play the Wings poorly, so I am going to say 4-2 wings. But hopefully I am wrong.

Why people want a trade so bad lol. I realize this team has needs but what do you expect the Canucks to get to help the team out? When it comes to trading the prices are usually to high. And yes Canucks don't have too much to trade since there is a lot of NTC and I don't want Gillis to touch any prospect since they finally have something to kinda brag about.

I agree with you, but I don't think Bieksa is going anywhere. I find it funny that people are all over Edler where it was only 4 season ago where everyone was hating on Bieksa, and yet Bieksa hasn't really improved much over that time. Bieksa is too important to the locker to be traded as much I hate to say that, but it is the truth. I really hope MG does bring in Dave Tippett, I can really see him not letting anyone run the team but him. Which was a big problem with AV. Tippett will make this team better, will they win the stanley cup possibly not but I can see the team actually playing 60 mins game more often.
