  1. They prolly dont wanna take the chance of him losing, this fight will be a huge money grabber for them and prolly the most hyped fight in maybe UFC history
  2. If Gsp beats Shields, Dana says GSP will move up to 185 and fight Silva for the belt :D
  3. TUF is done twice a year not three and Carwin is supposed to return on UFC 131 in Vancouver. He doesn't have an opponent yet though. Kenny Florian might be fighting at UFC 131 also, so it looks like a stacked card. Lesnar vs Dos Santos Guida vs Pettis Carwin vs TBA Florian vs TBA
  4. Anthony Pettis vs Clay Guida is also rumoured for UFC 131
  5. Sylvia just sucks, he stopped a Nogueira who is well past his prime, and Kongo is seriously overrated. I'll give him the Lesnar stoppage but that was just more Lesnar not knowing what he was doing than Mir being that good. He looked just god awful the other day, and White is questioning cutting him. http://www.5thround....ormer-champion/
  6. Nobody knew who Koschek,Griffin, and Sanchez were in TUF 1 when it originally aired. And Mir is always running his mouth, hasn't faced the reality he's not all that good and isnt getting better
  7. Hey agree with you but Vitor was told by the UFC he would face the winner of Silva vs Sonnen and Vitor was actually supposed to fight Silva after the Maia fight but he had an injury.
  8. I can't believe people are really questioning who gonna fight Silva next. I don't think Sonnen is gonna get an immediate rematch but he will be back. Vitor is obviously gonna be Silva's next opponent since he was told before the fight he would face the winner of it. The only reason their are questions now is cause Sonnen shocked the world. But does anybody agree that if GSP was able to put on enough weight and fight Silva at 185 he might just walk through him?
  9. I was watching the post fight conference and apparently Josh Rosenthal came to Lesnar before the fight and said that if one you is in a bad situation, you have to show me something that tells me your still alive and able to defend yourself; otherwise I'm gonna have to stop the fight. Rosenthal told Brock (and prolly Carwin) exactly what he needed and obviously Brock did what he had too. So stop B****in bout it. Also Carwin wasn't at the post fight conference, he was at the hospital because he was hyperventilating I though this guy trained at altitude??
  10. Not if 5-1 means 3-0 in championship bouts and 12-1 mean 0-1 in championship bouts I'm thinking everybody would rather be 5-1 as the champion than 12-1 as a contendor
  11. Or Brock will win once again by learning from his own mistakes But yeh Brock still clearly needs to work on his stricking. But I think the biggest problem was that Brock intimidated by Carwin's punching power, he was covering up and running back even before he got rocked, which might have alot to do with ring rust. But guy's tons of heart and a granite chin only JDS can break
  12. ^^ROFL^^ LOL what?? Fedor got caught in a triangle, and Carwin in an arm triangle. Two completely different moves
  13. Holy $hi! stop complaining!! Did you hear either Rogan or even Carwin say anything bout the ref not stopping the fight??? Lesnar intelligently defended himself and Carwin gassed himself out. Seriously give credit where credit is due
  14. LESNAR HATERZZZ WASSSUPPPPP!!!! Man Lesnar has such heart and resilence and Carwin needs to learn of this thing called pacing.
  15. Does anybody have a working stream to 116, I'm using googlechrome PM me thanks
  16. Way too many people are counting out Lesnar. No doubt Carwin is immensely talented and Lesnar's hardest challenge but do you guys honestly think Carwin will be able to push around Lesnar like he did to Mir or be able to get off the ground easily like he did with Gonzaga. Lesnar is a completely different beast than either of those or anyone Carwin has fought. Carwin is gonna have a difficult time taking down Lesnar or clinching with him. It will be a hell of a fight between two of the best heavyweights in the world. Having said that I think Carwin's gonna knock Lesnar out in the first , I'll be rooting for Lesnar though
  17. LMAO has anybody ever typed in "Dana White is" on Google. So funny, try it out
  18. I'm not sure if you guys know this...but theres actually some real MMA fans that are gonna be routing for Lesnar I have no idea who's gonna win but for sure the match aint going past the second round
  19. Suprised Vegas has Carwin as an underdog as many people think he'll win (ie. this thread). But I want Lesnar to win so JDS can knock him out
  20. I agree with you that his can happen to anybody no better how talented but how can you say Fedor was winning the fight? They stood up for like 20 second, then Werdum dropped to guard to lure in Fedor, it's not if Fedor was dominating him but then got caught in a submission hold. (ie. Lesnar vs Mir 1)
  21. He was... http://mmajunkie.com/news/13325/fabricio-werdum-confirms-release-by-ufc.mma
  22. OMG Arlovski had a three fight win streak in the UFC against no names, who even at that time were nobodies. His one good win came against Werdum, and it was fight in which thy pretty much ran around and got booed out of the arena. And don't get me started on Sylvia. He had lost two of his last three (Only win coming against Vera) before he fought Fedor. And after losing to Fedor, he lost to RAY MERCER. The same guy freakin Kimbo Slice beat via Guillotine Choke. At the very least you can say about the previous two fighters was they were once very good or at least had beaten some dangerous fighters. But Brett Rogers beat Arlovski at a point in his career where he was clearly done. Also it was apparent that Arlovski was looking past Rogers, either that or he sucks. Rogers came in their blindly swinging like it was street fight and caught Arlovski who defended himself horribly. Can you honestly say by looking at his past three victories he is the best in the world?? During his days in Pride he probably was, but now he lacks the motivation and honestly the skill (which has steadly declined) to be in the conversation for best pound for pound. Who knows maybe this loss to Werdum, who was released by the UFC following his loss to JDS (I actually checked this time) will light a fire in him and get him going. But for the time being he is not the best MMA fighter in the world.
  23. I'm sorry but you have to face reality in the last few years, really since his last fight with Noguiera, Fedor has not fought anybody that can prove that he is the best. Wow, he's beaten Arlovski and Sylivia!!! Two fighters that got cut from the UFC. And Brett Rogers, are you kidding me? Fedor isn't even the best heavyweight in Strikeforce right now let alone the best fighter in the world. Alistar freakin Overeem completely destroyed Rogers unlike Fedor who looked uncomfortably with him. Also do not forget the Fedor was losing to Arlovski before Arlovski jumped in the air with his head stuck out asking to be hit. Until Fedor fights legit comptetion (ie. Lesnar, hell even Overeem) and wins nobody in the right mind should call him the best fighter in the world. He probably was at one time but not right now
