I feel like a lot of people forget that you do not make it into the playoffs for a year or two with a long term vision ... in order to win the Cup. Eg. Colorado Avalanche.

All I take away from that presser is that Canucks is run like a shitshow ... no plan, winging things, essentially, this mgmt team lost a year, lost their captain, lost a ton of cap space moving forward with their signing. SHITshow.

It would have come across much much better if it was a story about just some obnoxious fan at a Canucks game who behaved rudely and the person not made a single comment/mention about her being a woman. We can all identify with someone at a game who acts sanctimonious.

To teach the lazy players on this team how to play ... hire Mike Babcock and give him a 10 month contract. Then, hire the coach you want in 2023-24 season.

Obviously, in hindsight, this mgmt chose the wrong player to give a long term deal to ... Miller. They should have saved the cap for Bo.
