Wasn’t a boring game. Very entertaining but very disappointing. Canucks lacked a certain killer instinct and intensity needed to win a playoff game. Just needed that extra gear to push them. Little further. Had chances but couldn’t burry them. Close but not close enough. Could use that last sentence probably to describe the rebuild so far.

I think unfortunately game is out of touch now! I will hold on to the smallest hint of hope for now...

So I would say we need a goal in the first 5-10 mins or game is likely done. It would be especially great to get a goal from an unlikely player like Benn or Gaudette. I think that would really pump up the team.

Jake is especially looking useless. I’ve cursed Boeser and Gaudette a handful of times but I think I only mentioned Jake once. Pretty telling I’d say. He has been basically invisible. I was always pulling for him but never works hard during games or practice or training. Time to trade him. No way he turns into anything. Will never be half the player Bert or Neely was. I think those comparisons are basically gone now but they need to be shut down completely. He was a poor pick at #6 and is a borderline NHL player at this point. I predict if he doesn’t start putting in the work he will be out of the NHL soon.

As long as Loui Eriksson is in the lineup or even in the press box this will not be a playoff team. He does not fit the style of this team.

I would love it if the Canucks would release a third jersey in green. Maybe one day. Definitely with the stick in the rink as the main logo but it would be nice to see Johnny Canuck on the shoulders in an updated logo.

When I first saw the 3 new jerseys I disliked them all however as I look at them more, I'm starting to really like the new 3rd jersey. I think they made great choices for it. The green stripes look great. I really like that they are thicker and more pronounced than the home and away jerseys and I am perfectly fine that they don't have any white in the stripes. Might actually make me like them more as they stand out more from the home and away jerseys. The home and away jerseys look odd to me but that is probably because I am just so used to the Vancouver word mark. The skate jersey looks beautiful as always but is it just me or does the logo on the skate jersey look off-centred.

Just bought a Horvat jersey. I sure hope he sticks around long term...
