  1. A bit late, but I think signing Iginla makes a ton of sense. Benning was obviously with Boston when Iginla signed with them so Benning knows what Iginla could bring to the table. Hopefully he'd be a good influence on the youth while still being a contributor in the top 6. If Iginla didn't check both those boxes then I doubt Benning would pursue. Signing Iginla to a short term deal definitely coincides with 'win now and develop youth.' Hopefully Iginla/Benning built up a good rapport in Boston.
  2. #FireKenward
  3. I don't blame the Aquilini's for stepping in and overruling Gillis. They're probably sick of all of his failed trades.
  4. Just keep sticking to the process. We'll be fine.
  5. Congrats for having the best username on CDC.
  6. Canucks just need to stick to the process.
  7. I doubt it would have mattered but why isn't Weber getting PP time? Reminds me of Garrison situation last year. Weber at least gives the Canucks a threat.
  8. At least Lack will be well-rested for the game tomorrow.
  9. New Canucks motto: At least we got a point!
  10. 4 for 32.
  11. We can thank Mike Gillis for this debacle. Hasn't done anything to upgrade the team. If Gillis built an offense, the Canucks would be able to put away some of these 1 goal leads in the 3rd. Gillis is awful. I'm dreading the deadline... if the Canucks are still in the hunt, MG will probably deal Corrado for Erat.
  12. AV the scapegoat.
