    I work for a law enforcement org , approaching retirement.  The job has been hard on me more often than not and this place was one of my escapes - 'talking' and reading about a team ive followed since elementary school with people that love the sport.  Thanks to all the mods, VC, Stealth, Deb...for all your hard work and insights.

     

    Finally, the decision is puzzling. With the team not doing well for so many years I was afraid we are going to lose the younger generation.  The kids I see around me these days seem to be more into basketball and NFL.   Why not keep up a place like this that generates interest around the team.  Is the technology getting old (like me)?

    The team follows the captain.

     

    When the Captain plays a rugged, heavy style the rest of the team follows.

    When the Captain plays soft, cheats up ice etc. The rest if the team follows.

    Suter won't come here., even if pay him more than other teams...

     

    He's made a lot of money in his career with the massive contract in MIN. He'll want to go to a Cup contender.

    Willander will be our top pair guy in 5 years. Hughes might leave as UFA or get traded around that time. 

     

    We're going to need a top pair shur down guy for Hughes asap. 

     

    Willander will be 2nd pair RHD in 3 or 4 years. Too long for Hughes to wait.
