18 - 2 - 1 is the Oilers record sice Ekholm trade. Bouchard has been playing on another level playing as Ekholm's partner. Kenny Holland made a heck of a trade to get Ekholm.

Draisitl played on 1 leg last year playoffs and he was still a beast. Can't wait to see what he does this year. I fully expect him to amaze hockey fans with his speed skill unrelenting motor and highlight reel passing.

Big physical skilled team that can play any style of game that presents it self. They've won 9 in a row and lost once in last 14 games I think it was an OT loss to VGK They can play hard physical shut down hockey or a skilled and offensive game. They played LAK twice last two weeks and beat them 2 - 0 and 3 - 1. I watched both games and it was defensive shut down hockey by the Kings and the Oilers beat them handedly. Kings couldn't do much at all on offense. The Bruins and Oilers are a class above the rest going into the playoffs.

Let's go Oilers. Running like a well oiled machine right now. Oilers for the Cup. That would be awesome!!

Oilers running like a well oiled machine right now. On an 11 game heater right now going 10 - 0 - 1 They can play any style of game. Run and gun or shut down the other team. Allowed 1 goal against in last 3 games. They have speed, size and physicality. It would be great to see McDavid and Draisitl win the Cup this year. Great team.

I posted this when Horvat was traded. He got lucky BB was coaching in Vancouver and Horvat put up big points and got the contract he did. Good for him for cashing in right away and signing the long term big money extension.
