    if we sign loui that would for sure help us. but i won't be crushed if they don't sign anyone. you have to know that right now there is a bidding war thats started. players want term for their contract with hopes of a buyout at the end of their career.

      have a gut feeling Eriksson may end up in Detroit. I have the feeling Vancouver is going to be smart about contracts and term and avoid problems down the road. Maybe someone like Brouwer or Martin will come to Vancouver on a shorter term ( less than 5 years ) ?

      I'd definitely be content if they just sign some cheaper 2nd to 3rd line players to bridge the gap between the veterans and prospects for a few seasons.
