  1. Nikolay Goldobin | LW/RW

I’d really like to see Goldobin on a line with Boucher. It’s obvious they have an extreme amount of chemistry together. Goldobin played on Boucher’s line way back in 2013 when Boucher beat Stamkos’ record for most goals on the Sarnia Sting with 60 (Stamkos scored 58). Goldobin led all rookies in scoring that Year ahead of Connor McDavid (although McDavid was a year younger and played in a few less games). It’s interesting that neither Goldobin or Boucher were drafted by the Canucks (Goldobin was a trade and Boucher was a waiver claim), but they have been reunited on the Utica Comets and are both playing at over a point per game (Boucher at 1.08ppg and Goldobin at 1.07ppg). I know that defense might not be their strong suit, but no one is really standing out this year defensively for the Canucks (especially after we lost Dorsett on our shut-down line). With the lack of goals this team has had (Canucks are 25th in the league), wouldn’t it be good to see if Goldy and Bouchy can reconnect some chemistry! I’d like to see these two on a line and see what they can do. The only downfall is that it will hurt the Comets chances of making the playoffs without their two top scorers playing for the team.
  2. Elias Pettersson | C/LW

I thought Pettersson looked really good on the North American sized rinks in the WJC tournament
  3. Adam Gaudette | C

Swedish elite league MVP... Elias Pettersson
  4. Adam Gaudette | C

It would be amazing to see a Hobey Baker award winner, a Goldenpuck winner and a Calder trophy winner in the same year and all belonging to the Canucks!
  5. Brock Boeser | #6 | RW

  6. Brock Boeser | #6 | RW

Great reward for Brock getting the bonus of $212,500. I'm betting that for Christmas, he will tell his Mom to stop working three jobs and to spend more time at home taking care of his Dad who has Parkinson's: I honestly couldn't be happier that he achieved this bonus for 20 goals, not only as a fan of the Canucks, but also because he is such a great kid! This article really gives you a sense of what he has been through already: And of course this just shows how much character and class Brock Boeser has: It kind of looks like Vanek has taken Brock under his wing and is working with him to score as many goals as possible. I hope the team rallies around Brock and sets him up to have a record breaking season hitting all the bonuses along the way!!! Happy Holidays Brock!!!! You deserve it #PlayTheKids
  7. [Rumor] Canucks shopping for top 9 forward

Haha I didn't see that when I was looking up his stats. Guessing we can afford him now...
  8. [Rumor] Canucks shopping for top 9 forward

There is a kid in the Swiss A league scoring at a ppg pace. His name is Anton Rodin. Wonder what it would cost to get him...
  9. Reid Boucher | LW

2 goals for Boucher tonight. 24 points in 22 games with 13 goals... I feel like he is doing it without much support, especially since Goldobin was called up!
  10. Brendan Gaunce | #50 | C

I like Gaunce. Right now he is a really good 187-foot player...
  11. Perfect! Travel for the Canucks gets easier just as we are becoming a competitor for the cup!
  12. There's an outstanding warrant out for a Benning... Jim

Woops, yeah I should have checked that! I heard a commentator during the game say something about Pouliot being part of the Sutter deal and I assumed it was the pick we gave them. Thanks for correcting me. Still interesting that we got both Sutter and Pouliot which is what Pittsburgh received for Jordan Staal.
  13. There's an outstanding warrant out for a Benning... Jim

I didn't realize that Pouliot was picked with the draft pick we gave Pittsburgh in the Sutter/Bonino trade. Benning gettin' his picks back... **This is wrong, I didn't check it first! Pouliot was an 8th overall draft pick.**
  14. Elias Pettersson | C/LW

Our power play of the future is exciting to think about! Boeser on the left dropping bombs. Pettersson on the right with his howitzer. Gadjovich in front of the net swatting in rebounds. Juolevi on the point and hopefully a #1 Dman from the 2018 draft. We might score a goal on every single power play that we have...
  15. Kevin Bieksa one punch, miss him.

Good read about Bieksa and his top 10 moments as a Canuck:
