    I thought I heard the name was likely to be the Seattle Sockeyes which I thought was actually OK. I've been hearing people clamoring for Kraken for a while and I think it sucks. Sockeyes sounds old-timey. Me likey. EDIT: That's where I remember hearing it.

      Tough one @mpt . Real good.

       

      That sacrifices the long term health of the club. By using a really nice bandaid that would help us win, you open up a gaping wound somewhere else.

       

      If we actually had an established D corps it would be a different conversation. But our D is suspect at best and our two best Dmen have a 0% chance of developing any further.

      I'm going to say not likely. Byram scored 26 goals. That's rare in any league. He's gone in the first 4 picks.

      Craig Button has Byram at 10th as well. I could see him dropping to 6th or 7th, some scouts are super high on Broberg so that could create some droppage if say Detroit does something like that.

      Unreal season. 71 pts in 67 games. I'm really impressed with the 26 goals. Any d-man in any major competitive league that puts up almost 30 goals is going to gain a lot of attention. And rightfully so.

    Mark Stone is very good. He is not elite. Don't even make that argument. Playing in a new conference and team could also go a long way to hurting his game. I believe he doesn't even have a goal yet playing for Vegas. We shall see though.

      The EP40 magic well has run dry of late. It is to be expected after carrying the team in his back for the 1st half of the year.

       

      People are not tuning in to watch a shooting gallery each night on Jacob Markstrom.
