  1. Cammalleri, and it was rude as hell.
  2. I'm not sure of behind the scenes problems, but I know that Tavares and Moulson are like best friends. I have a feeling Snow is hedging his bets that Moulson will re-sign with NYI after this year just to hang out with Tavares. They'll deal Okposo to open up room for Moulson on the top 6.
  3. What? No it isn't. The salary cap in the KHL is lower, lots of team are financial wrecks. I think what you're thinking of is those huge contracts offered to Bobrovsky and Malkin? The KHL has a clause that allows a team to have ONE player whose salary does not count to the cap, only if that player last played in the NHL. If you mean that he would make more continuing to play in the KHL vs coming here and having a Rookie's salary cap, then yes, I agree that's a problem. I don't know anything about Nichushkin to say that is the case though.
  4. Yeah 'cause it's still hockey...? That's like saying why bother watching the Canucks next year, they're playing the same sport. What I'm really excited for is the one stick deking. Now I'm pretty sure you all think it's stupid (why make it any easier?) but two stick dekeing always felt clunky and I always would shoot instead of deke (especially when I tried to recreate the datsyuk shoot out goal flip trick) . I hope that they make it so that the right stick still "controls" the deke, IE determine whether the deke starts from forehand or backhand, but the dekes will happen automatically, without having to half rotate the left stick while rotating the right stick and then pressing back, while holding LB while skating on a 37 degree angle away from the net. That'll make skating much sleaker, and it'll be about your hockey IQ instead of having memorized a stick combination. Also, physics based hitting > animation based hitting. Also, real BAP mode. Awesome.
  5. I believe the reason they aren't is because the next gen consoles come out later than NHL games are released. It wouldn't make sense to have two big launches for this game. However, with Gaikai, you should be able to play this game on the PS4 if you own it.
