With Brewer officially back in the fold, it appears the Avalanche will not be bringing Jay Bouwmeester back next season due to salary cap constraints. Colorado is looking to make some deals. Rumor has it David jones, Jason Chimera and Magnus Paajarvi are available, but given the clubs struggles almost no player is off limits.

Nichushkin may get some consideration although I doubt he wins it. Would be surprised if he was even a finalist really. Sean Monahan deserves a look too. 20 goals as a 19 year old with Calgary? That's like getting 40 goals on an NHL team.
