I don't understand them to be honest. Are they Vancouver's brown beaches? logs floating in the water? I don't get how they connect to the Whitecaps theme. On the bright side, we've got some of, if not the, nicest home and away jerseys in the league.

What a game. That was fun to watch.

I've had the good fortune to work for the Whitecaps at Swangard, Empire and BC Place, and the atmosphere at Empire Field was far and away my favorite. Nothing compares to the the roar of fans stomping on the metal stands in the sunshine. Or the classic, alternating "WHITE!" (and then the far side of the stands) "CAPS" chants. I'll be the first to admit, getting in and out was a hassle, and the buses weren't great. Still, just LISTENING to a game there was an experience.
