  1. I bought nhl 17 for $30 for something to do and man the Franchise mode is absolutely laughable compared to Manager mode on FIFA
  2. Hedman no explanation needed here. Nominate Hoffman coming into his prime he has had 27, 29, and 26 goals in his last 3 seasons
  3. noob. Raymond and Higgins were both legit middle 6 players on any team in the league during 10-11
  4. lol. Only definite mistake has been Virtanen, if Virt pans out on another team we never hear the end of JB passing up the big BC boy sniper. Hindsight is 20/20
  5. I rarely get to hyped up about prospects but I would be very, very shocked if Boeser is anything less than a perennial 20 goal guy
  6. Grabner , White, Hodgson, Schroeder , Jensen that may be the worst streak of first rounders i have ever seen

Grabner has turned out to be a decent middle six guy. I agree with Art, Gillis wasn't a great drafter.

I firmly believe that is Hodgson hadn't had such a dick head for a father and stayed a Canuck, he would have turned into a 60-70 pt player. Vancouver would have had the strongest center depth in the league.

  7. A few years ago Tavares would have been clear-cut #1, but the past 3-4 years Hedman has shown his elite potential. I think Tavares has peaked offensively as an 80 point guy which is amazing don't get me wrong but I would take Hedman based on the fact he is still reaching his ceiling. I find it interesting that dynamic forwards usually post their best offensive years between 18-25 where as elite D usually post their best years between 24-31 Nominate Ryan Ellis
  8. You seem to have a lot of free time on your hands

life's like a dong, the harder it get the longer it feels.  Or is it the longer it gets the harder it feels?  Either or.

i was 19 once. graduated, joined the navy... that was 60 years ago. that went by fast.

  10. my thoughts exactly. If history is offensive that is exactly why we are supposed to remember it, in order to not repeat it again.
  11. If Bo and others can step up this year the Twins could be deadly in a secondary scoring role

  12. Even if they aren't linemates forever, having a guy that you know you have chemistry with when you're coming into a team for the first time is definitely a good thing.
  13. Wasn't like 90 percent of the fanbase calling for us to tank..? Lol Benning cant control the lottery, we got screwed two years in a row.
  14. Dahlen and Petersson will both be on Vaxjo this upcoming season which is the highest tier in Sweden versus the second tier they played last year. The competition jump will be enough to test them, on a really good team like Vaxjo I expect very solid offensive numbers once again this coming season from both our prospects. Likely not PPG numbers, but still respectable for top tier Sweden.
