Talbot wasn't a starter until he was 27. Brian Elliot is 32. Rinne is 34. A lot of goalies have strong play in their 30's. 

Lot of goalies don't get into the NHL until their late 20s anyways. Garteig can still make it as a backup atleast.

Not saying Demko will be the next Roy or Brodeur, but I do say he will be the next big thing since Murray in terms of goalies

Curmudgeon, with respect, it is was too early to be investigated for AS. Frankly, it would be a waste of health care resources at this point to get the blood work and xrays. His pain has only been around for 1.5 weeks. If it were months/years then that is a different conversation. I empathize with your story, 10 years is a long time to get a diagnosis. I wish you well

@The 5th LineI just had high hopes for Jake.  I thought the physicality he had previously would translate to the NHL.  Surgery should not preclude a GM from taking a player unless they are looking for and need immediate impact.

I think Edmonton did even worse trading the 16th, 33rd overall for Griffin Reinhart. It was I believe the first move that Chiarelli made and it has turned into a huge mistake. Look at the talent available at those draft picks.
