  1. They're confirming whether he can when injuries to Cs happen. Narrator: He can't.
  2. I highly doubt there are many teams out there, including the Canucks, who view Granlund as a centre.
  3. I so want to comment on this..... I'm not gonna. But I want to.
  4. LEAGUE ANNOUNCEMENT: With the superlative return of @canuck2xtreme, and the ongoing fantastic work of @Mike Vanderhoek, I am officially announcing my immediate resignation as Commissioner of the CDCGML. Due to increasing pressures in my personal and professional life, I am unable to continue to commit the time to the role and provide the service required to the members of this excellent league. You, as GMs in this game, deserve to have someone who can respond and reply to your needs in a more timely fashion than I am able to going forward. I will not be serving as a League Executive, or in any official capacity, yet will attempt to support the league in any way I am able to. When I took over the role, a little under two years ago, I did so with the intention of providing temporary support for c2x as he needed the same freedom to concentrate on IRL concerns. It has been a pleasure to serve you all, albeit a little longer thanI anticipated, and providing a bridge through to where we are today, and I look forward to devoting my energies toward battling you as GM of the New York Islanders. It has been encouraging to witness the renewed commitment by the founder, and foundation, that the CDCGML relied upon to become the game that it has. It is not possible to underscore the amount of time and effort that c2x and others have sacrificed, and continue to do so, to execute what I consider the best game I have ever played. I have full confidence in the Commissioner and the League Executive, and we have been discussing how to transition back to our previous command structure with little interruption, and more information regarding this will be forthcoming soon. It continues to be an honour and privilege to remain a member of this very special community.
  5. I'll spot you my three. Eakin, Sbisa, and Theodore. Edit: and I suppose I'll move Hossa to IR for now.
  6. We thank Ottawa for the quick negotiations. The Oil management are excited to go into the season with a Rinne - Hellebuyck combo, along with an improved defensive core. We hope this, after a strong 2017 Entry Draft, is a signal to fans and FA that the team expects to be contender in the West next season.
  7. @Nail for housekeeping, can you send down Auvitu for now and recall Chabot and Boeser, please? Cheers!
  8. REPORT: The Oilers have made a significant move to shore up their goaltending and to make them a greater threat in the playoffs.
  9. Yes all, I have a lot of cap sheet work to do. I have a 6:30am flight in the morning and am unlikely to get much done tonight. Maybe on the plane.
  10. That and Strome's cap hit with bonuses is only 1 mil less than Tanev's.
  11. The 2017-18 salary cap is set at $75 million, with the floor at $55.4 million.
  12. 13. The only thing that I will say on the subject is that it didn't ever occur to me that GMs needed to be reminded. I should have posted about it but it never once crossed my mind that it might be overlooked leading up to a draft.
