  1. Getting Dahlin would complete the core of this team
  2. Loll VGK are in their first season, currently 3rd overall. Their home record is 14-2. Visiting teams must be pulling all nighters the day of the game against them.
  3. Sounds like he's getting in the right areas, just needs to work on his accuracy
  4. I'm convinced that he has the potential to become a #1 dman in the NHL. He has all of the tools and a good iq for the game. I can't believe he left what a kick in the balls.
  5. This guy needs to come back we need him in VAN
  6. I agree! The whole system is rigged! It's the perfect method to control where the talent needs to go to create balance and parity in the league. The major prob that needs to be addressed though is the incompetent management of these multimillion dollar franchises. There are teams that draft high but still continue to destroy young talent with horrible development strategies such as Edmonton, Arizona, Buffalo. Chirelli is prob the worst gm in the league. I'm so PISSED that EDM gets to draft 1st overall so many times and also gets so many high picks and they continue to F*** them up over and over again. We haven't drafted first overall once in the entirety of this franchises existence and we still manage to do better than these other garbage teams whom are consistently in the basement. EDM was gifted McDavid 100% and they still suck. It's the management that needs to be addressed!
  7. With a Brockstar on the other side also. I can visualize EP feeding BB just like on that second primary assist EP got today over and over again in the near future.
  8. Thanks for the summary Sid. Question. Didnt Peter Forsberg play in Sweden for 2 or 3 more seasons after his draft year before coming to N.A.? If so I have no problems with EP spending another year developing in the SHL or even if he were to come over and play in Utica for a season. I don't think that would hurt his development at all. It would probably improve it if anything. If he's to play C he needs to bulk up a little bit and I think that is the position VAN needs him to play to take over for Hank eventually. Plus he can play against men on N.A. Ice and crush the league before becoming a full time NHL player. I just don't think there's any need to rush him.
  9. Only if he becomes better than JagrI'm hoping he does.
  10. Yeah I had the same reaction

  12. Fixed. Thanks for all of the updates RZ. You and Sidisme.., are doing an awesome job giving report on this future superstar. I'm always eager to come to this thread to hear the new updates. I'm sure I speak for most of the posters on here, cheers..
  13. Yeah I remember that elbow Duncan douche. What a coward to intenually injure one of our stars whom happens to be one of the classiest people you'd ever meet. Someone should've taught kieth a lesson. I agree with your statement. It was fun watching the Sedins in their prime breaking down the play into a chess match in the other teams defensive end. Pettersson is an exceptional talent I'm very glad we have him. If we somehow managed to get that elusive #1 defensman (Dahlin) this year, or next year the cup is ours in the very near future.
  14. I'd be watching quite a few Utica games for sure
  15. I've said it before and I'll continue to do so. This current team is not going to contend like TB, St. Louis, or L.A is atm. Those are high calibre teams. We will not be winning a cup anytime soon. There is no reason to rush such an exceptional prospect onto this team. I think it would do wonders for this franchise and this future teams chances at winning a cup if EP, Dahlin, Gaudette, Lind, Gadjovich, Juolevi all played one season in the AHL. Esp for EP, that way he can work on being the #1 centerman we need for the next 15-20 years. He will still be playing against men while getting acclimated to the smaller ice surface in his natural position. The long term gain is what's best for him and the Canucks moving forward imo. Let him tear up the SHL this year, the AHL next year, and the NHL for the next 15-20 years after that.
  16. I'm fine with not taking the risk and keeping our pick to draft Pettersson. The NYR were high on him and you never know who would have traded up to select him before us.
