Capote was one of the few that I liked his character in. But he is always always so laid back and smug in most of his roles that I just detach and steel myself to get along with him for the coming two hours. I'm wrong that I don't like him? What are you talking about?

Saw the new Hunger Games earlier 8/10 I knew none of its details going in so seeing Jenna Malone in it was a very welcome surprise. Philip Seymour Hoffman out of nowhere. I don't like this guy. There's been very few roles that I have cared for him in. This movie would be a 9 or 10 if they removed that guy that Catnips likes from her town and then like 60-75% of Petra's dialogue.

Had this ridiculous song in my head all night. Told someone I was thinking about new rims on my truck and we were referencing black music all night.

Listened to the new Pearl Jam album about five times this morning. There is still no hook catching me. Hope I find something I like off of it before the concert in a few weeks.

Been listening to a lot of old country lately...

Saw Ender's Game tonight. I had read the book years back (just the first one) and was very excited for this one and my expectations were huge coming in. That being said, I was worried that they were going to rush and skip stuff I liked in order to get it all in under two hours. Well, they did. My favourite parts of the book were the battles and Ender's rise from new cadet to master soldier/strategist. A lot of what was explained over several chapters in the book was just glossed right over. Things like shooting your own legs (freezing them) to provide a shield as you came down on someone firing up at you. I loved that stuff. All in all, it was a solid sci-fi flick but it was a great book and I was a little disappointed. 7/10 Edit: Like I said, I haven't read the series past the first book but I assume it is a bunch of Ender moaning about killing the aliens.

The reviews haven't been great, but I'm stoked for Ender's Game
