Nylander or Ehlers is what the team needs. We need that offensive gamebreaker which we are truly lacking.

The Canucks have enough size. Our prospect pool is clearly lacking a true offensive player where you can build a line around. As good as Jensen or Shinkaruk is, they are complementary pieces. Our team will have BIG trouble scoring in the future with the prospects we currently have. Schroeder should have been that playmaker our prospect pool lacked but was injured for most of this season and took a step backwards in terms of development. Based on our needs, we should definitely take Ehlers.

How many times have people gone over this with you? Explain to me how Drouin occupied opposing team's best d-pair when he was in Sweden for the WJC and Ehlers continued to pile up points.
