    Matthew Savoie is denied exceptional status into the WHL and then the Cougars lose the draft lottery because of course.

      Savoie can only play 5 WHL games this season. He's 15 until Jan 1st of 2020. He would had to have exceptional status to play anymore. He's a 21-22 commit to University of Denver. Meaning his only WHL season would be the 2020-2021 season.

      Like Baer said - he's limited to Bantam and USHL next year. Hockey Canada $&!# the bed on this one.

      It's not like he's too small.  He's not the biggest guy but he's bigger than some guys in the NHL.  Can he go the Matthews route and play overseas?
