  1. William Lockwood | RW

Lockwood - through the eye test, is Michigan's best player, or at least one of them. He is the most dominant in terms of speed and will try to blow past and deke past everyone. I've gone to most of Michigan's home games so far and he's been up and down so far this season. His last game against **** State was disappointing, but somewhat reflective of his season, as he had instances where he drew ooh's and ahh's from the crowd, but for much of the game he wasn't very visible. He has 11 points in 14 games, but with how good he is he should be producing more than just being the 4th highest scorer on the team. His shooting percentage is very low as of now, though it'll balance itself out over the course of the season so look for him to produce at a higher level than 11 in 14.
  2. [PGT] Vancouver Canucks vs. New York Rangers

Man I really wouldn't be all over Green on choosing Hutton. He was 1/1 on penalty shots before this game (I think), and his shot was ever so close from sliding undernearth Hank. On another note I remember when Edler used to be efficient in the shootout.
  3. [PGT] Vancouver Canucks vs. New York Rangers

I mean I think it's more average than mediocre if you look at our team SV%, and for what we're paying our goalies I think that's acceptable. But remembering Lu's spectacular glove saves and Schneider seemingly always covering every part of the net leaves something to be desired.
  4. [PGT] Vancouver Canucks vs. New York Rangers

I grew up being spoiled with good goaltending with Lu, Scheids, and Miller for the most part and so I've always thought goalies stealing 1-0, 2-1, or even 3-2 games were quite common and unspectacular. But now it's so few and far between. Not saying our goaltending is bad my any means as it's more of a testament to the former three.
  5. [PGT] Vancouver Canucks vs. New York Rangers

I don't think Virtanen's development is quite affected by whether or not he shoots in the shootout or not. And for all we know Hutton could just be much better in the shootout from what Green sees in practice. Don't forget he had a penalty shot OT winner last year.

Can't blame Green for the shootout choices. He sees these guys in these situations more than anyone else so I'd argue he knows more
  7. Brock Boeser | #6 | RW

As much as I love Boeser I think it's just absurd to put him ahead of Eichel and even Marner at this point. Boeser has played less than 30 games in his career and Eichel has shown that he is a superstar (while Boeser has shown potential that he can be). Buffalo is in large part a terribly run organization and it's hard to think that Boeser can make a difference for them too.
  8. Elias Pettersson | C/LW

Do we think EP woulda made it on the Olympic team if NHL players were allowed?
  9. With the exception of a few, every time I search up one of our prospect's stats I find myself being extremely pleased with their progression statistically.

  10. Elias Pettersson | C/LW

TBH I doubt that. I feel like most people would have been on board with Glass, even knowing that Pettersson was killing it. People would've made excuses to downplay Pettersson's achievements and whatnot. That being said I honestly would've taken Pettersson 2nd overall in the summer so I'm not complaining lol.
  11. Mind you, we had the best record in the league that year, so I'd call it more than "wasn't bad," even though we didn't do anything in the playoffs. Also, generally, no matter what the situation is, starting a rebuild right after having the best record is unheard of. Only in hindsight, it was bad decision making as we didn't win a cup. But we could all be sitting here saying the Caps should've traded OVI back when he was a 60 goal 120 point player because they haven't won anything important since then. It's not like we were absolutely destined to be crap after that season, we still made the playoffs 2 of the next 3 seasons with very good records and capable teams to do something in the playoffs.
  12. How has PIT scored the 2nd least goals and allowed the most goals in their division and still lead their division...

  13. I went in the Red Wings Forums' GDT tonight and they have an entire page in their GDT arguing about the pronunciation of Rasmus Dahlin. They've literally given up.

I probably have Juolevi lower than 98% of CDC at 6th (Boeser, Pettersson, Demko, Gaudette, Dahlen), but wow 8th is a hugeee step down wtf
  15. Redo: 2009 NHL Entry Draft - #8

Schenn/Johannson is the best player now. But Kane has had a better overall career so far even though he's played with the worst teams. Went with Kane. He had his injury problems but I chose to disregard that because with a redraft everything is kinda reset. I am pretty astounded that only 2 people have voted Kreider so far though. Although it's understandable since he never really had an impact until a few years ago.
