  1. 2018 NHL Entry Draft

Im thinking the same.... As for Bouchard, imagine his offensive output if he had quality players to pass to or setting him up? Whats one major aspect missing on our blueline since Salo? ...The Hammer Right there is a HUGE reason why I would be just as happy with Bouchard. Heck last draft I was holding onto the Glass train with both hands but Im proud to eat crow and be happy with who we got instead. Isnt this time of year fun?

Im just gonna be happy with whoever we draft. There is such an awesome arguement with everyone. Took me 2 days to fill out the poll question over in the consensus #7 pick thread. Right now watching Dobson set up the play to on that OT game winning goal in the biggest CHL stage proves to me he is a factor in big games. Lets see if he can build upon that. Drafting Dobson or Bouchard at #7 and Tychonick at #38 could become a great 1-2 D pair in the mold of a Keith/Seabrook pairing.

"Wahlly" is definately my double-stampsy, no-erasies pick I hope we take. This kid OOZES talent and skill. Not only that is the fact that for the last 2-3 years he has been surrounded with(whether for NTDP, U18) the top junior talent in the country. Mittlestadt, Tkachuk, Farabee Norris Mismash Both Hughes Etc.... Doubt he ever plays much center but he can fire a puck just as good if not better than Petterssen or Boeser. Ya we need D but Benning is right that there will be plenty of D sitting at #37. Perhaps we make a trade between now and the draft. Say Tanev for Liljegren or a Tor 1st. Plenty of D where that pick falls as well. Dont pass up on talent like Wahlstrom. Imo, HE would be the Mittlestadt pick of the draft and will have just as good of a career if not better than Svechnokov amd Zadina
  4. I can see MTL trading down... Gather some great assets and select Joe Valeno. They finally get their Frenchy center
  5. Olli Juolevi | D

In that sense, can Dahlen still join WHC? Alot of miles on that bidy but worth it for development. Eventually these guys beed to be simply shut down to get the opportunities to hit the weight rooms
  6. Kole Lind | RW

  7. 2018 NHL Entry Draft

Canucks could sure use something like this on backend Clutch
  8. 2018 NHL Entry Draft

But we still need a quick D such as Hughes or Boqvist to get these guys the puck
  9. Elias Pettersson | C/RW

My bad....game 2 of the best of 7 is tomorrow
  10. Elias Pettersson | C/RW

    Who does Vaxjo play next?
  11. Adam Gaudette | #88 | C

Not to mention Dahlen ripped it up for Allsvensken. Petrus Palmu is rumored to be rookie of the year in Liiga
  12. 2018 NHL Entry Draft

I would trade down if we got #2 or 3. Trade down to 5th and select the next best D while collecting assets Just dont have jim pointing out his player in the stands "Ya ummm duhhh theres our guy"
  13. 2018 NHL Entry Draft

Ya Tanev wont be getting Ellis and Nashville can and will sign Ellis ti a great deal AND squeeze Fabbro into the line-up after he has spent a good year ir 2 in Milwakee. Nashville drafts well, trades well and when they do they almost ALWAYS get a pick in the deal. Btw....the minute that 30 GM's disciver Ellis is available, the price will likely start with the usual... 1st Young awesome prospect Decent young player And they will get it. OR They simply trade Ellis straight up for someone equally awesome....a hockey trade Coz THAT'S how that team rolls
  14. That will likely save Benning's job
  15. The Buffalo station story was from last season. Tanev's M-NTC has already kicked in. THAT July 1st has already passed
