  1. The only thing I hope for is the Vancouver Canucks winning the Stanley Cup.
  2. Doesn't say much about 'Nucks D, huh? Doesn't Miller excel when he sees a lot of rubber?
  3. Mr. Peabody & Sherman...was pretty good until the Trojan War scene...got somewhat corny after that. 6/10. Good family fun. I'm holding out hope for a movie featuring Tennessee Tuxedo & Chumley.
  4. Suck balls and win it all
  5. A bagel, eh? That's about how many goals Daigle scored, huh?
  6. I haven't read all 16 pages of replies, but I'm all for Torts responding and acting the way he did. I like to see that fire. You can call it a "black eye" or whatever; but, in the end, I'll take Torts' behavior any day over a Bill Belichick type. I hope it brings the boys together and they go on a nice long roll into April.
  7. I think Kesler thinks he is.
  8. I'm all for tradition, but I like to see things adapt as well. I don't want hockey to turn into football. A little individuality never hurt anybody.
  9. The Canucks and MG are golden. They'll never win the Cup. They won't have to try very hard. They can always lay blame elsewhere with the "It's a conspiracy theory" trip. Go Nucks!!! Late-
  10. Whining? For the majority, it seems that's exactly what these boards are for. But, in the end, I agree with you, oldnews...Kassian and Hodgson are young players who have to find their games and integrate them into their respective teams. Late-
  11. I'm not sure of the timeline; but the Hodgson trade came along about 4 months or so after the Canucks let Raffi Torres walk didn't it? What did Torres want? Million and a half, 2 million a year? Torres, suspensions and all; delivers a certain amount of fear and helps keep fools in line. IMO, the Nucks do not have that at all, now. Wasn't the trade of Hodgson supposed to supplant his supposed softness for a tough, gritty forward...Kassian? Kassian doesn't deliver the toughness, fear, call it what you will. And, no one player makes a team; but I think letting Torres go set in motion a series of events the Canucks now regret. Late-
  12. No. Go right ahead. The team has been mediocre since they traded Cody Hodgson. Late-
  13. I voted No. I became a Canucks fan around the time The West Coast Express, with my man, Dan Cloutier; was taking off, after Trevor Linden's initial run with the team. I'm not all about stats. It's only one part of a player. There are many other things that define them as well. From what I've seen and read about Trevor Linden...He's the greatest player the franchise has had. Late-
