  1. Does anyone know if this game is live streamed online (for free - other than the illegal services)? Don't get to watch the PST evening games due to my time zone. Have really wanted to watch the kids play, but only get to watch the highlights.
  2. Lol was Seynshyn even on site to join them on the podium? He must have been in his hotel room waiting for tomorrow to start. Good for him though.
  3. Also, I can't find a stream that works for me. Is Boston really leaving the podium and then coming back to it for their 3 consecutive picks? lol.
  4. I can't go to sleep because I don't want to miss anything (1:40AM for me at the moment), but it's been a bit boring on the Canucks front so far. Recognising, of course, that Benning has been talking about 2nd round picks for ages, it shouldn't be a surprise that he is in no hurry to make his trades during the 1st round.
  5. Well that was a lot of work. I feel bad for you that now have to reconsider 25 through 60. Sorry man. Edit: Clearly I was sitting on this page too long before reading/posting.
  6. My favourite part is how JB trades every youngster he acquired in the past year.
  7. I don't know, I heard on CDC that Clendening guy is a bust.
  8. I HATE people who are recent joiners. Anyone with less than 5 years forum history and 1,000 posts is invariably AT LEAST one of the scumbags you described in your post. Hell, I'd bet this guy is all of the above. Some nerve this guy has coming into a hockey forum as a new member and disagreeing with someone of your stature.
  9. If you guys have a VPN, you can watch it on the YouTube channel I linked. You just have to select a country where a company does not have exclusive broadcasting rights. I found a link on IIHF that listed all the countries/channels where it was broadcasted, so just select a country that isn't on that list! People on the YouTube channel mentioned they were watching from: Indonesia Thailand Bosnia Belgium You can try those.
  10. I cannot stand the "play-by-play" announcer from the semi-final games. The colour guy is okay, but the other one doesn't seem to know much about hockey. I put play-by-play in quotations because he doesn't really call the play at all. The only thing he seems to care about is pronouncing the player names with great enthusiasm. He especially has fun with the Russian and Czech player names. Every once in a while he just starts yelling the name of the player with the puck. How did he get this job?
  11. Never mind, it looks like they stream it on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/user/icehockey
  12. Does anyone know where to stream these games? Finally some hockey close to my time zone!!!
  13. Kind of interesting to look at this from the perspective of our recent Kes deal. To Ducks: Kes + Van 2015 3rd To Van: Bonino, Sbisa, 24th overall, Ducks 2014 3rd To compare that to your proposal: Yours / Kes deal Bonino = Bonino 23rd overall = 24th overall (yes they are different years, but from what I've read the 2015 draft is top heavy and not as deep as some suggest. I'm not expert on this though) Tanev > Sbisa Markstrom = no comparable no comparable = swap of 3rds (with our 2015 3rd being lower (i.e. better), thus we were giving the ducks the additional value there Now, RJ obviously worth more than Kes. Especially if you consider his age and future now compared to Kes' when the deal happened. Thus, we will need to give up more for RJ than we received for Kes. Further, the Kes deal was widely considered to be underpayment for Kes, since he exercised his NTC. As such, even further value would need to be given. Let's ignore Bonino and the firsts since that's pretty much equivalent. On top of the value we received from the Kes deal, this is how the remainder looks: + Giving a much better defenseman in Tanev + Giving Markstrom, which is worth ~ 3rd rounder + Not requiring them to give us additional value by swapping 3rd rounders I'm not sure that's enough to bridge the value gap of getting a better, younger player than Kes who isn't holding his team over a barrel with his NTC. I won't embarrass myself by suggesting what would be enough to get it done, because I have no idea.
  14. This is my understanding as well. If you were in Vancouver, you could use a VPN to watch the game from a European IP and have no blackout. Gamecenter looks like its only USD30 for the playoffs, although I was hoping for a free option. There's another thread on CBC online where someone said you can watch replays of the games (through a VPN for those of us not in Canada), but I can't find where that is possible.
  15. Where is that? When I look at the page I don't see anything about old games, it only shows the upcoming game schedule.
