  1. Hahaha it's a copy pasta. BM is making a joke.
  2. Canucks future #1 center

Jack Hughes is 16, he's eligible next year not this year. Absolutely destroyed the U17 WJCs and killing it in the USHL as a 16 year old. He's definitely one to watch out for.
  3. Rumour - Larry Brooks - Max Domi

I remember after Horvat's first all-star game is that he mentioned about how he enjoys/prefers playing with skilled wingers who can create space and dish the puck (played with Gaudreau). Probably reminiscent of when Domi played on his wing back in London as well. No better player to play with than the one who he started it all with. Hard to excel on the Coyotes indeed, they need better quality veterans that can still play and mentor the youngins coming up. Unfortunately it's not something they'd want to acquire for much in a trade.
  4. Rumour - Larry Brooks - Max Domi

Sorry Alf, but Domi doesn't belong in the bottom six. Domi is having a bad year because Arizona sucks, he's a proven commodity and is still only 22 years old.
  5. Adam Gaudette | C

Apologies, I didn't mean to come across as upset or irritated. I suppose I was just being too straightforward without regard for the tone in the way my point was given. I believe his main point is that there's no huge loss in not being able to sign Sikura right? I guess it's not something to cry over, but it would be a greater loss than missing out on Cagguila. Gaining a free asset similar to Kerfoot would not only improve our team, but also free up assets to trade for (e.g. Max Domi maybe?). Kerfoot is filling in for Mackinnon, on an Avs team that can potentially be in the playoffs. If Sikura is of a similar quality (combined with Gaudette's potential impact) I would say it's worth being disappointed over (momentarily anyway). I could be wrong in Sikura ends up being unable to adapt to the NHL, but he's an enticing piece either way.

Arguable? You're either underrating Sikura, or overrating Cagguila. Not very many players are "franchise altering." Aston-Reese is another Drake Cagguila, not Sikura. Sikura actually has skill instead of just grit and willpower. He's probably closer to Kerfoot.

    Sikura is better than Cagguila.
  8. So are you angry with people defending Vancouver? Or are you angry at the fake fans who tarnished the reputation of both the fanbase of the franchise and the city?
  9. Customary whether they won or lost. Happens all the time here in the U.S. - which is why it bugs me extra more when people refer to the 2011 Vancouver riots.
  10. Don't forget Travis Dermott, the kid is turning out to be pretty good.
  11. Only 23 and is racking up points in a quality league. Why not?
  12. Like others have mentioned, only person worth anything on that list is Joshua Ho-Sang. Would probably target him and Sam Reinhart who is also struggling this year.
  13. Burakovsky would definitely be a good pick up. I believe he has top 6 potential, and at worst he's an "elite" 3rd liner with his combination of size, speed, and ability to put up points. Great hockey roots and is Swedish to boot.
  14. [Report] Ryan Nugent-Hopkins out 5-6 weeks

Trade for Nugent-Hopkins? Guy can still score at a relatively high rate, Edmonton could use some of his cap space? Also a BC guy who can play center in our division... trade value is probably at a low for him.
  15. Linden Vey | #7 | RW

As others have mentioned, I believe it is for a switch to the Swiss league.
