    Wow never realized Sid was so close to 1000 points. Just got his 900th point and isn't even 30. Then you see Gretzky did it in around 383 games. 

    Sid still could end up in top 3 in NHL scoring all time.

      Crosby will not even break the top 10.  Injuries will take their toll.  he had a chance at top 5 maybe if he was healthy the entire time

      Using Crosby's current points per game (it would most likely be higher if he was never hurt) he would roughly be at 1050 points if he never got hurt in 2011. If you take into account his ankle injury in 07-08 then he would be at roughly 1100 points.
