1 year deal for Kassian, it's time to see if he is hungry and wants to prove to everyone that he is a NHL player. Anything more then a 1 year is a free ticket for him to coast. IMO he has not earned a 3 year contract deal

If he doesn't want to be away from home then he should be working at the local pizza shop not trying to gain employment in 30 cities.

It is disappointing trade after trade that we always get the short end of the stick! The Lu trade was a shock but what we got in return is frustrating. If we are going younger then why are we throwning in a prospect?Lu by himself should be able to get 2 players and a pick not have us give a prospect and pay 15%. Cory for a 1st round pick, really? Miller and Ott were able to return 5 players in their trade. Goaltender was not an issue for us, no offence to Eddie but Gillis did not improve our club with these trades. Different time different NHL, when Quinn was the GM but the trades he made helped our club immediately and he didn't seem to get jobbed on any deal. What player are we going to build around to create this new Canuck face? I have no clue who our future is in 4 or 5 years. How long is this plan that they have in place? I never thought anyone could make Mike Milbury look like a genius as a GM, but Gillis certainly has in my opinion. I expect nothing more then a bag of practice pucks for Kesler and some water bottles for Edler when they are traded.

What are the odds the Laff game end on time for once, so that the Canuck game isn't pushed yet AGAIN? They have a 1/2 hour lead in show then piss around for 15 minutes before they drop the puck and add more commericals because it's Saturday night.

Kassian got 5 games for careless use of his stick. John Scoot got 7 games for telling Kessel he was going to go with him and took 2 chops off his leg while holding 2 Leafs at arms length Dale Hunter got 20 games for hitting Turgeon after he scored a goal. This by far is worse then the Hunter hit. Give him 25 or 30 games and I don't care if it is his first time beinig suspended.

Is our team getting screwed with game time starts? I understand on the road having 4pm pst starts, but we have been giving a 10 am pst already, have 2 back to back 10 am pst starts at the end of the month on the road. When was the last time a west coast time had so many 10 am pst starts? When the stinking Leafs come out here we have to move up our home start time for the clowns in Leaf nation. Now we have another different home start time. Yes I understand both teams play at the same time but when has an east coast team ever played a game at 10 am, like the Canucks have too?

thought golf was a game of honour? Then again Woods doesn't have the best character as we all know. He signed a incorrect score card, but because it's Woods and CBS needs the ratings there are different rules for different players. When are they going to give Woods a 1 stroke penalty for taking more then 40 seonds to put after he addresses his ball. What a joke giving the 14 year old kid a penalty when Woods take 3 minutes to put.
