  1. [BOXING]Related discussion here!

been awhile since ive been here. looking forward to tomorrow nights fights!
  2. I think the tough love with Hutton will have a good effect on him.  I believe the Canucks want him in their line up but he needs to put the work in.  A quicker and less fatigued Ben Hutton will be a great addition next season.

I've said before he needs to lose some baby fat and like all the grizzled vet dmen  have some front teeth knocked out   , nuthin gets your attention better than the latter............

Concerns of Hutton are a bit blown out of proportion IMO. He was one of our best D at the beginning of the year and his play dropped off as his ice time dropped off. I thought him and Tanev were a great pairing. Seems like the writing is on the wall for him though, I'd be surprised if he is a Canuck by the start of next year.

  3. TOR in round 1. BOS in round 2 I can live with that.
  4. unfortunately I think that chapter is over. He's close to his wife now
  5. Sven Baertschi | #47 | LW

I don't think Patterson or Botchford understand what JB is saying. He believes Baertschi needs to become an impact player, not just "decent". He's at that point in his career now that to help the team do better he needs to take another step in his development as a player
  6. [Rumor] Canucks interested in Tyler Bozak

I really hope this is just a stupid rumour because no TY to Bozak
  7. [Discussion] UFA vs Draft vs Farm

Maybe a vegan diet can squeeze that extra 20% TG is looking for
  8. I like Baertschi when he is active without the puck. His problem is that he doesn't always play that way. Pretty much most of the time.
  9. Playoff hockey is great but lets get to the freaking draft already :P

At the very least, get the draft lottery over with a little sooner.

I'm driving my wife nuts talking about the draft.

Time to fire up the whip and start cruising to forget the off season Goose :D

  10. [Signing] Oilers re-sign Ty Rattie

    lame oilers suck
  11. Popular Cash Dump names and Values (Discussion)

ANYTHING over 3 years I would not do. I havnt watched a ton of CBJ this season but if they needed to move Dubinsky's salary + sweeten the deal......
  12. Id only go after the top end guys that make the team better (Tavares etc.) or just fill spots from within the organization. Trades are another possibility. Re-sign Jokkinen for a year as well.
  13. Canucks roster year end grades

Players that stood out to me: Virtanen: He made big strides this season. I'm not concerned at all about a lack of points. He got better over the course of the season and that's what you want to see. He didn't tire out which really impressed me. Pouliot: I was undecided on him for a long while. Lately though, I'm seeing more of the player I'd like to see. When he is on his game he is crafty with the puck and mobile. His knock is consistency and the occasional turn over. I hope he works hard in the off season and comes to camp ready to impress. Leipsic and Motte: really like these new players. Motte is good defensively, almost honey badger-esque if you will. Leipsic is quick and shifty with the puck, an element the team could use.
  14. Hard to believe a guy that was in my mind one of the best goalies in the league taken such a rough fall. I havnt been watching NJ at all though.
