Personally, I thought Breaking Bad was slightly overrated. The last season is a masterpiece though.

I will have to check out the Americans, running out of TV shows to watch

Finished Ozark. Love it. Just finishing Peaky Blinders as well, another amazing show with a star cast.

I didn't note the source, but I've seen it written more then once.  Even if hes around 7M, I'm fine with it.  Bo has another 6-7 solid years in him and hes a damn good player.  I want to see him through.

Keep.  Even rebuilding teams need leadership or you get situations like Edmonton.

@EternalCanuckFanlike @Alflivessays, if you can move a contract like Dickinson or Poolman, Id definitely be OK with Motte on a Burrows-esque contract.  He’s in his prime and (imo) guys like him push the needle in the right direction.  

This is all contingent on what Motte wants to do tho.  If he wants to goto UFA or is looking for a bigger pay day, by all means trade him.

@CurmudgeonI think Lockwood makes the team and doesn’t necessarily have to be Mottes replacement.  Id live to see Lammikko’s line play a third line role, and build a new 4th line with Lockwood on it.

He reminds me of how Hansen used to play for us. Great motor, forechecking, and a bit of untapped offensive skill. I'd love to keep him, but also think he's the type of player other teams will look at as a playoff asset. On a lower scale than Miller, I think there's value to be had either direction you go in.

You need to have a gen 4 m.2 for the PS5.. Its very fussy, and you also require a heat sink as part of it.  

I just believe you might be wildly overpriced on a 2 TB ssd there myself.  But all of my SSD's are for photo and video editing.  It might be entirely different for as PS5

We need speed on the back end but the UFA class looks pretty abysmal for that.

I mean we got Jimmy R's golden egg, Ryan Reeves available as a UFA should Motte leave via trade/FA.

My thoughts on the Trade deadline:
Motte goes for a Conditional 3rd that upgrades to a 2nd. Maybe more if we can do a sign and trade.
Boeser goes for picks/roster player and a prospect
Miller goes for boat load. Picks, a top 4 RHD and a top prospect
If Garland goes for it be for a good haul too. Picks or a top prospect with a roster player.

Having a ton of trade capital is important for teams to take on bad contracts. Dumping Poolman will cost us at least a few draft picks. Seems like a bad year to dump Myers, so I would keep him since he has been doing quite well with OEL on that shutdown role.

Newhook would be great but I'd be surprised if they moved him, Byram has concussion concerns so I'm wary

@ChuckNORRIS4Cup no, everyone would not be "like cool" because if I see a photo of JB looking startled and then you CONTINUE to follow the guy around a grocery store taking more photos that's just plain creepy and shows a total disrespect for the guys privacy.  Use some common sense. 

In any event, the grocery photos were a failed attempt at a gotcha moment, and in top of that just embarrassing as a fan to take in.   

Ok so from now on anytime I see someone with a photo of a player or any person in general I'll just start accusing them as a stalker come on people. 

Like I said call the guy an idiot for following him and accusing him of something he had no clue about, and call him another idiot for continuing to photo him after the point, but stalking no again the only way it's stalking is if this guy was sleeping outside Bennings resident, followed him to every place he went to throughout the day, like the paparazzi does which is stalking, this person isn't doing that, he's being an idiot, one photo was all that was needed then move on.

Chuck, "stalking" is euphemisticlly being used not literally, given the circumstances.   I don't think anyone is trying indict the guy under the criminal code

Joel Edmundson leads the NHL in +/-, but it's not stat, it's an indicator. 

Given he's +24 and only 9 points, that's a good indicator.

Chara is +15, but only has 9 points as well. He might be showing wear and tear, but he's a damn good defender.

Kole Lind has 4 goals in 3 games. Pretty hot start. Lockwood almost made the taxi squad so I'm not shocked to hear this. And it's nice to see Gadjovich make some progress. Like Juolevi, I feel like Gadjovich's development has been slowed by injuries -- also Power Forward's famously take longer to develop -- so it's nice to hear that he's taking the right steps forward.

Curious how Jett Woo, Jake Kielly, and Carson Focht are doing.

I also wonder if the Canucks will try and trade for Sam Anas in the offseason. He seems like a guy that could be the new Wacey Hamilton/Carl O'Reilly/Pascal Pelletier/Reid Boucher for the Comets -- a Utica locker room leader who can put up points in the AHL and could be good for the occasional callup. I know he's under contract with the Blues but I just wonder if a deal could be swung in the offseason.

Recently in the market too!  Drum'd my whole life... Missing beating the old skins as the kids and basement renter both don't enjoy it.  Looking to buy a set.  From my first look i think the Ales Nitro with the mesh seem like the best purchase.  Prolly going to pull the trigger in the next week or two

@CoquitlamDave right on.  For me, because I live in a condo space and noise is a premium.  Do you know of any modular e kits?  I'd like to get a snare, hi hat, pad for double bass kicks.  I'll add toms/other symbals down the road.

Almost bought a strike pro kit but wussed out at the last second.  Problem with the smaller sets is the feel of the set.  It would also suck buying a $1k and then wanting to upgrade later.  But then again it would suck spending $2k-3k and not playing them. 

Sorry I am not a drummer..... yet. 

My favourite is my Trevor Linden Chunky Soup stick.  It only took me 5 soup labels to get that one.
