This reminds of a hockey pool I was in once when someone only drafted goalies. Canucks are doing it with Dmen

Watching Brzustewicz play, he reminds me a lot of a watered-down version of ColoradoAvalanche star defenseman Cale Makar. No pressure there then

An 18 year old Sam Bennett is certainly in the right age range -
(Rumour) 4 teams interested in J.T. Miller

I agree. There are 6 legit contenders in the East and 5 of them have pushed all in for this year. At least 4 of them will not win the cup having spent their future draft capital. I expect CAR to avoid the arms race and stay competitive for years to come. -
They are acquiring a physical depth defenseman ready for a playoff run. Although Stillman is overpriced, I guess they think that his physical play is more important than skating and defensive positioning during the post season. Alvin has just been seen walking out of IKEA shouting “start the car. Start the car”

His new deal has a no trade clause, so you trade him this week or not all -
Can someone explain to my why NYR did this trade. It seems like a great trade for the Canucks but what were the Rangers thinking. People have said that NYR need to shed cap space to accommodate a Kane trade, but Kratsov is on league minimum and not likely to get more next year. Have I missed something

[Signing] Islanders re-sign Bo Horvat

Every other gm in the league should be sending Bo baskets of flowers thanking him for screwing over the Isles -
I'm Betting Bo Winds Up On Isles..THEN ____ ...

Bo lands with the one team no-one has mentioned - LA The Kings are on course to be contenders in 2-3 years time with a stack of young prospects ready to enter the NHL. Their problem is that their 1C superstar is 35 years old and will probably not be around, or will have a diminished role when their window opens up. Acquiring Bo gives them a ready made experienced 1/2 C. LA have the currency to make the trade and plenty of cap space after Kopitar's contract expires after the 23-24 season. With a bit of creative cap management next season LA and Van could make this work.
