  1. The New York Islanders are assigning F Isaac Lundestrom, F Mikhahil Maltsev and G Tuukka Rask to their AHL Affiliate.
  2. Any team looking for a goaltender, Tuukaa Rask is available.
  3. Happy to have two of better young players back. A little more pricey than we originally thought it would be, but we are glad to have them back on board and continue moving forward with shaping our roster. Assign both players to our AHL Affiliate at this time.
  4. Is there is a free agent list anywhere in the chat? OP is a little outdated from what i see, maybe be missing something completely because I'm not looking in the right spot. And when does FA start for us?
  5. Yikes. I'm sure that cooler heads can prevail, sad to see a long timer in PO leave. Not easy managing 32 personalities and desires and level of commitment, so kudos to everyone involved for running the ship for 10+ years. Hope it can be water under the bridge but seems like something a lot bigger.
  6. The Islanders are making the following players available: Matt Martin, Anze Kopitar, Jason Demers, and Ryan Suter. Other notable players are available, inquire within.
  7. Very pleased to walk out of the draft with Pastujov, Doan, and Savage. Did not have the time this year to scout like I usually do, typically spend some more time on the later round guys and try to find some gems. But such is life. Tapped into the USHL system once again, has worked well in the past and hopefully see some names fly off early Friday for the Draft. Once again, Islanders are open for trade talks whenever. Hoping to get some free agent stuff dealt with to better solidify the roster, but happy to talk trade with anyone anytime. Cheers to all those that made the draft a fun process, especially @canuck2xtreme and @Rush17 for hosting and keeping things moving. Glad I stole some picks away from other teams, always a good feel
  8. NYI willing to part with their 4th for a 4th next year. Will pick otherwise.
  9. I think the best name in the draft, Redmond "Red" Savage
  10. Present for the time being. Please use list if I cant make my pick. Work is just up and down. I know it's close to my turn
  11. Islanders will be around via PM throughout the day. At work but have email notifications on so send a PM my way if wanting to have any conversations. Hopefully be live for the draft but list has been sent in just in case work gets busy
  12. Well done @greensman definitely going to be a competitive team you got there. Best of luck to Henri and Logan in Seattle.
  13. REPORT: The Islanders have been in communication with several teams early this morning, touching base on players of interest and gaining understanding of where teams are headed into this crazy offseason. While no player is off limits, sources close to the team suggest that some of the bigger names that would appear to be untouchable from the outside may in fact be more readily available than expected.
  14. It has been a long time since being in here, but damn does it feel good to be back. After spending the majority of the day sifting through the roster and making some calls to agents about getting some contractual stuff dealt with, the Islanders are officially open for business. First off, would like to thank @Paul Vanderhoek for the work he has done for the organization, and a special shoutout to @theminister for the work he put in for many years building the foundation of this organization. I remember being the GM of Detroit and chasing the standard that was the Islanders - eventually building the building blocks of a contender that is a true powerhouse right now. Many of you know me from my time in Detroit and brief stint in Toronto (can't dodge this damn Eastern Conference), but I am now back for the long haul and look forward to rolling up the sleeves and delving into the hockey world like I once did and compete with everyone here. I have mentioned to a couple of people privately, but what @canuck2xtreme has built here is the best fantasy experience around - bar none. Lots of fun, lots of challenges, and a great way to stay connected with the game of hockey. With that, here is the project lineup for the Islanders heading into the expansion draft and free agency. We are open for business.- looking forward to having conversations with as many teams as I can about where they stand and if there is any room to make some moves. My track record speaks for itself, I am open to making moves if everything makes sense - but don't try to come and offer up peanuts for my young top prospects or unload salary for no compensation. I can drive a hard bargain at times as some may say, but I am fair and upfront about how I see a negotiation happening. Don't hesitate to reach out if there is something of interest or you are looking to make a big move. Andrei Svechnikov - Anze Kopitar - Mitchell Marner Jack Roslovic - TJ Oshie - Jason Zucker Keiffer Bellows - Adrian Kempe - Lars Eller Joey Anderson - Nicolas Roy - Matt Martin Jakub Chychrun - Dougie Hamilton Ryan Suter - Henri Jokiharju Jack Johnson - Jacob Larsson Jason Demers Tuukka Rask Jake Oettinger
  15. The Islanders have the 21st Pick in the Draft are open to making a move with it. Anyone that is interested please do not hesitate to reach out.
  16. Glad to be back! Appreciate all the warm welcomes, and big shoutout to @canuck2xtreme for getting me back in so swiftly. Glad to be in the thick of it again managing a roster, so I look forward to challenge of competing in what I imagine is still the juggernaut Eastern Conference. Have a lot of work to do to catch up to speed, especially with the expansion draft looming and contract management and all that fun stuff. But I am looking forward to the challenge. Like always, the inbox is open so never hesitate to reach out. Cheers lads, looking forward to a fun off-season and kicking off things again come the winter. Will be nice following my team again and checking up on random East Coast USA teams that I would never otherwise bother looking at scores for
  17. Leafs back online to talk trade until the deadline. Wont have deeper discussions until after the game
  18. Playoff bound Ryan Reaves and Josh Bailey are still available out of Toronto for those teams looking to boost their playoff rosters. Potentially Dadonov as well.
  19. RUMOUR: Alex Radulov and Jamie Oleksiak seen saying their good-byes to their teammates after post-game interviews tonight. More to come
  20. The Leafs will continue talks with teams until Thursday, at which point final decisions will be made on certain players. Lots of calls and lots discussions have taken place, but the lines remain open for anyone looking to make deals.
