  1. I was decent in my younger days, pregnant wife wouldn't be too happy if my one handed typing was still as good as it used to be though.
  2. I agree, that's not even debatable. But then maybe you sign one instead of both guys. Neither guy is all that unique, it's easy enough to find a Roussell or Beagle replacement, for a team that's not even close to a contender, without giving the 4 years. That's just my viewpoint. I see your side as well though, and love your profile picture as well.
  3. I've got nothing against the players, the 4th year drives me nuts on those deals. I'm not even mad at the overpay to both guys, the market dictates itself. But those guys should be 3 year max deals IMO. One of the 2 and I'd be in a better mood. I don't like adding both 4 year deals to this team at all, but I'm just an Ashlynn Brooke fan though so what do I know haha.
  4. I'll cheer for them regardless, I just want them to build it right so we can finally, hopefully, win a cup
  5. We do have some foundational pieces. Imagine if he actually traded vets for extra picks throughout his time here, we'd be alot closer. I don't even hate JB, just very frustrated, especially right now haha.
  6. Benning has drafted well, with limited picks, because he tends to move the odd pick for a player that tends to be redundant in the organization. He doesn't make nearly as many moves as a REBUILDING team should. And hands out extra years to mediocre players. Can we get him a bronze statue infront of the arena yet?
  7. The heart makes those decisions not the brain. Elaborate on the stupid comment part? You think the deals are good apparently? You seem very intelligent so I would love to know what you think.
  8. If the rumored contracts for Beagle and Roussell are true, at 4 years a piece then can we please get JB a free agency handler? He's good on the draft floor but looks to be fairly incompetent in all other areas of the job. What a frustrating organization to love, I wish my heart picked another team when I was younger haha.
  9. Quinn Hughes | D

I haven't read through the first 41 pages and I'm sure everyone has said it but regardless, Hughes is the perfect player for this organization!! An absolute home run of a pick. He takes so much pressure off Juolevi and gives this team potential game changers at each position for the first time. Finally a little Canuck luck.
  10. Overpaying for a physical, bottom pairing D man will hurt the organization going forward. Save the money and trade him, people seem to love him in this thread but he's really just not that good, very meat and potatoes. He could probably be effective in the clutch and grab era but where skating is so important now he just isn't in the same league as most of the NHL. This team needs to realize it needs to rebuild. Trading Guddy won't get us back what we gave up in capital but that's because it wasnt a smart trade initially, JB needs to get us what he can for EG and move a couple other players while he's at it. I'd like to actually see a championship team one day.
  11. Kole Lind | RW

Hunter wouldn't know a talented player, but you would? Haha. Your opinion couldn't mean less on the subject of hockey or anything hockey related.
  12. Kole Lind | RW

Right, so knowing what you do now, if you were Jim Benning and able to re draft while adding that 6th pick you'd take Lind over Glass. If that's truly the case I don't know how much weight your opinion holds while talking about prospects
  13. Kole Lind | RW

So if you were Jim Benning and somehow added the number 6 pick to go along with Petterson you would draft Lind over Glass in that spot?
  14. Kole Lind | RW

Lind has alot of PP points and Glass gets a ton of his points 5on5. I just think it's too soon to say Lind is equal to Glass nevermind better. Good pick at 33 though.
  15. Kole Lind | RW

Lind looks like he was a great pick at 33 but I don't think you can say he's outperformed Glass, they're not the same in terms of style so Glass almost matching Linds point production while playing better D has to make him the better current prospect. Dipietro looks like an absolute lock to make the squad and a good pick by JB and assuming Gadjovic has a roster spot is a little ambitious, he will challenge for one but is certainly not a lock. Regardless it looks like JB had a damn good draft, even though we're still way too early to really judge it
