I gotta say, the line on Loup looks terrible, but his defense completely let him down. It's hard to fault Smoak for going after Maybin's grounder (you're taught that if you can get to a bla, you take it) but Travis had an easy play on it if he had just let it go and gone to field his position instead.
Even after a walk where it looked like he couldn't find the plate, Loup made the pitch he needed and got what should have been an easy double play ball, only to see Chris Coughlan boot it, loading the bases with none out. I liked CC's approach at the plate (bunting for a hit in the 11th with 2 outs and a man on was gutsy) but he's no JD...
Anyway, Biagini took care of business. The strikeout of Pujols (on what looked like an impossible pitch for a righty) was Yuuuge...
Hopefully, this is a start of something.
