  1. Good stuff. Doesnt really matter what they got in return it was time to move on. Good luck in Ottawa Burr and thanks for the memories!
  2. Anyone thinking it was going to be less than 6 years and less than $6 mill is living in a fantasy world
  3. I hope people can temper their expectations on the return for Hamhuis. It's very difficult to leverage value when there's a full NTC involved and the player is only willing to go to maybe 2-3 teams. Also everyone is aware he's hoping to go back to Vancouver this summer so chances of an extension are also slim and diminish trade value even further. Just try not to freak out if they don't get the value you're expecting. Or if they don't make any trades at all. Which would be surprising since Canucks are usually one of the busiest teams historically on deadline day.
  4. Obviously hammer and Vrbata are available too, they just didn't mention anyone that they thought they could actually get anything for. Throwing out a list of names like that is basically saying we'll take anything for this crap
  5. Depends where. What if the west team was Edmonton? No thanks. I'll take the early 3rd
  6. Can't complain much about the return, that's goalie trades for you The trading of lack in general is the mistake
  7. Kesler doesn't want to be here and Sedins are on the decline with likely not many years left before they pack it up and head back to Sweden. Who's going to centre the 1st line in the future? They need to make this trade happen...
  8. LOL at anyone including Hansen in their proposal. No one wants that.
  9. Either way it's an exciting time to be a Canuck fan. Either we end up with Reinhart or we keep Shink and draft someone great at 6th. Not to mention whatever they get for Kesler. This may not be a playoff team again for a couple years but I like where things are heading for the future. It'll bring some excitement and interest back to a franchise that has frankly become quite stale in recent years
  10. I'd hate to lose Shinkaruk, but for Reinhart you gotta do it. And anyone thinking they'll draft anyone but Reinhart if they move up to 1st is out to lunch or hasn't been paying attention.
  11. Crossing my fingers Ritchie is not on Canucks radar. Overrated written all over him. Virtanen would be better than him but really this team is begging for skill and a lot of it. Nylander/Ehlers or bust
  12. You can't honestly believe if these teams swapped goalies before the game started that it would've made a difference. Look how the goals happened next time rather than just refreshing the score and forming your opinion without facts.
  13. Lol I knew some idiot would say that
  14. I'll just put him on the Canucks in NHL 13 and it'll be the same thing
