The final standings?
1. Man Utd
2. Chelsea
3. Liverpool
4. Arsenal
5. Tottenham
6. Everton
7. Aston Villa
8. Portsmouth
9. Man City
10. West Ham
11. Wigan
12. Newcastle
13. Middlesbrough
14. Blackburn
15. Sunderland
16. Fulham
17. West Brom
18. Bolton
19. Stoke City
20. Hull City
Heres my stab at it:
1. Arsenal
2. Manchester United
3. Chelsea
4. Tottenham
5. Liverpool
6. Everton
7. Aston Villa
8. West Ham
9. Portsmouth
10. Manchester City

13. Newcastle
14. Fulham

Arsenal will take the league, West Ham will take the Mickey Mouse Cup (aka Carling), Everton will take the FA Cup. For Europe, I see a Turkish or Dutch club taking the UEFA Cup and English or Spanish club taking the UEFA CL

In an unprecedented turn of events, Tottenham also gets relegated as four teams go down to the Championship.
That's what happens when its delusional fans think they'll crack the top four after selling Robbie Keane!

You're really trying to go against the grain eh? I'm surprised that Scolari hasn't gotten you pumped enough to peg Chelski as #1. If Grant can do as much as he did then surely Scolari will get the Blues back to a championship level.
Interesting also that you've got the Gooners at the top when so many have got them going backwards. I can only hope but doubtful myself that they won't be at least as good. I think they were 3 pts off the title last year.
West Ham will be weak this year imo, and Everton's too thin to properly compete for cups.

At first I was confused, and then I realised you just placed the table up side down.
I'd prefer to wait until the end of August because I'm sure there'll be more signings that'll make a difference but I guess it's hardly fair to make predictions after a few games have been played.
1. Chelsea - I see a well oiled machine and shudder
2. Man United - I think they fall behind early and not being able to catch up. Injured Ronaldo, sick Rooney and fractious summer.
3. Arsenal - Another hot start and another spring slip. Some veterans would be handy for the stretch run Arsene.
4. Liverpool - Worse then last year. I wouldn't be surprised to see another club peg them. Rafa will be fired during the season.
5. Tottenham - I think Ramos concentrates on cups as he moulds a squad that's had a lot of changes. Enough depth to be quality in the league as well though.
6. Portsmouth - Crouch and Defoe will be a strange yet effective strike duo. Diarra + Kranjcar = very good midfield.
7. Aston Villa - I'm presuming they sell Barry and use the money to add depth to the squad. Sidwell a good replacement.
8. Everton - A squad stretched too thin and it's best players are injury prone. Quality on their day though.
9. Wigan - They've made some good buys and if they can score goals they could continue improvement.
10. Newcastle - Ho hum.
11. Blackburn - A step backwards before Ince can make the squad his own.
12. Middlesbrough - Southgate's building the team slowly but surely. Some good youth on the squad.
13. Sunderland - Roy Keane actually bought some Premier League players! Off of Tottenham's bench no less.
14. West Brom - The best of the Championship squad to be promoted.
15. West Ham - Older and if possible I guess that makes them injury prone.
16. Fulham - It'll be another relegation fight for this London scum squad.
17. Hull City - They've made some quality buys (Geovanni) and are looking for more. I like their ambition.
18. Man City - I don't know what to do with this team. Thaksin's problems should put them in administration unless a new owner comes along in the 11th hour.
19. Bolton - Piss poor.
20. Stoke - Let's just hope they're not Derby bad.
FA Cup - Man U
Carling Cup - Tottenham over the Arse in the final.
Champion's League - Juventus
UEFA Cup - Tottenham
Let's work that Ramos magic!

I remember the mid 90's when Ajax was one heck of a team with guys like Litmanen, Reiziger, Finidi George,(great name) Bogarde, the De Boers etc. I believe they went an entire season without losing a League match. I still remember this goal that Dani scored in Champions League (1997 I think) that sent Ajax through to the Semi-Finals. (I think) What a goal it was.
...err what?

Another quality signing from Martin O'Neil this summer. Villa are still the smallest squad in the Prem and need a few more players brought in before their first match vs Man City.

shhhhhh.....I dont want to jinx my team
I agree with you Cooke that Scolari has got me excited about attacking football and bringing up youngsters, especially from what I've seen in pre-season. Chelsea smacking down AC Milan was something really special, but it's all about consistency from Chelsea and if they got the hunger for every single game (especially so-called lowly games against the lot of Bolton or Wigan...shivers)
It's all about having a great start for West Ham, I think West Ham has a team of core players who should be hitting their prime right now (ie Ashton, Upson, Parker), again it really depends on whether Curbishley acknowledges the fact that his job is on the line. I dont expect West Ham to contend for even a UEFA Cup spot, will definitely finish mid table again and fight for a league cup or FA. I agree with your assessment on Man U falling behind early in the season, it is critical for their team to step it up and keep the race close with Chelsea and for Chelsea to advantage of Man U's injuries situation. I think Rafa knows that Liverpool most likely has no chance for title, so he will be putting more emphasis to cup games and Europe, as always.
