He was up here for a while in the earlier part of the season and he did absolutely nothing. If he had done any more then say Josh Green for example, he would still have been up here.

I'm a hockey fan first. If a player didn't play up to expected or he played terrible all year long, I'm going to criticize him, regardless of whether he is a nice guy or not. Chouinard is a great guy, but he's a bust signing and there is a reason that he finished the season with the Moose.

AV and the coaching staff aren't dumb. If they thought that Chouinard could help us, he would have played the entire season here.

I expect a good year out of Chouinard because he is playing for a contract next year. IMHO, Chouinard could care less about winning. He only cares about himself and that's why he is and has been a contract guy over his entire career.

i tried being nice, tried ending the argument there, but you pushed it further so i have to be draged along with it.

first, i aint no puck bunny, its hard being a fan of a guy who you never hear any good things about, but what am i supposed to say "oh he tried his best"...when he clearly didnt, i know he can play better hockey than he showed us this year, and i am 100% positive that next year he will play better and will show us the real hockey he can play.

but i am not like some people, i mean if he stops putting up numbers i hate him...i dont care if he is the worst player in the world as long as he does stuff for charity and is a nice guy i have no reason to hate him, neither should you

That's what makes a puck bunny. Chouinard could be the worst player in the world, but if he is a nice guy and looks attractive, it doesn't matter.

I look at your sig and I see, "Go Burrows Go!" and it makes me wonder if you're lying to me about being a puck bunny. The only people that are fans of Burrows are girls, because there is certainly not a reason to like Burrows as a player.

I'm sure that there are a lot of Burrows fans that are male, but compared to females; it is a very low percentage.

Look around and you will see that most members that have pictures of Burrows in their signature or just random pictures of him are girls.

I'm a female and I like Alex Burrows, and no it's not because he's attractive. He works hard and I enjoy the way he plays the game. And yeah, he doesn't produce many goals, but the ones he has, were pretty nice or GWG. He's a hard-working gritty player, definitely one of my favourites.

As for the Chouinard issue, 7morrison_fan, just like whoever you want to like. Marc didn't have the best year with the Canucks, so a lot of fans are dissappointed in his play, oh well. It happens as long as you still like and support him.

I share my opinion on yourself as a fan and Chouinard and all you can do is send a handful of personal attacks my way? Talk about an easy way out of an argument.

I’m not calling you a puck bunny because you like a player. I called you a puck bunny for loving Chouinard for being a nice guy and not being a good hockey player. That of course is the definition of being a puck bunny, right? There are actually a few definitions of being a puck bunny. For one, my girl cousin was in love with Bertuzzi but she wasn’t really a fan of the Canucks. I could ask her a trivia question and her answer’s were always Naslund or Bertuzzi because at the time, they were our big stars. She went to games all the time, was it because of the love of the Canucks? No. Was it for the love of her ‘future husband’ Bertuzzi? Yes.

Can you honestly tell me that you like Burrows because he’s a good player? I’m not saying that Burrows sucks or anything. All I’m saying is that Burrows is not a top player on our team and there is no IMHO, real reason to be a fan of him outside of his looks and his hard work. Burrows is indeed a hard worker and he is a great penalty killer, and I know this is mean, but Burrows wouldn’t be on any other team in the NHL if it wasn’t for our defensive style and our focus on penalty killing. It’s just a hard reality of the salary cap. It’s hard to fit a player like Burrows into a lineup because he does not produce a lot, and there is always other players that can do his job equally or even maybe better.

i could not have said that better my self, i mean i have friends who only like hockey because the guys are "hot" but thats not me,

TonyG you gotta understand that there are girls who are not puck bunies out there...and they can like players like burr and chewy and its not because they think they are "hot"...there are girls who do like them cuz of there looks but then they would say omg hes so hot etc. i find that really annoying when girls say that so it looks like you just ran into two non-puck bunny girls that like burrows for his hard work

and i know many people are dissappointed in chewy, i am more sad about what happened to him, being sent to the moose after being scratched and wavied can do things for your confidence and not good things, so i like him and many ppl dont, i dont care i like being diffrent, just leave him alone and dont diss him out cuz that will get me mad

I am well aware of that there are lots of girl fans that aren’t Puck bunnies. I have a lot of girl friends myself that they are die-hard Canucks fans. But, again, a lot of the puck bunnies give the die-hard woman Canucks fans a bad name.

If this debate is still going on later, I will reply to it. But in the mean tim, I’m heading out.
