I wish I had more to offer about him.....but my sleeper pick in my draft was picking up Kessel. I think with any Washington player you are basically praying he plays with Ovechkin, so Semin is probably one of the riskier players to have.

It all depends on the size of your league though, and how many players you can have on your team.

Edit: From the HF Boards, Semin looks to be pencilled in on the 2nd line.

Semin-Klepis-Zednik

Cap fans say the usual "tons of potential" etc, etc. At least he is on the 2nd line, maybe he will get some PP time too.

Ovechkin and Semin both play LW, but I'm still hoping he moves up to the top line...He should get some PP time for sure.

With ten people in our office pool and 25 rounds, I picked Alexander Semin as my last pick. He looked pretty good during pre season, so I've my fingers crossed and knocking on wood that he could make a run for Calder.

I picked him as my 7th of 9 forwards in a salary cap pool. He's pretty cheap so I thought why not....amazingly I picked up BOTH Sedin's as my 8th and 9th forwards...

If he produces on the second line, all the better for Ovechkin because he won't have to carry as much of the load (AKA only major talent on the team that's not a goalie) and give the other team's D another player to think about than Ovenchicken.

But why did this have to be in poll form? One thing that irritates me on boards, just because the option is there doesn't mean it should be taken. A thread is supposed to be about opinions, not some meaningless percentages.

I thought it was going to be Ovechkin-Zubrus-Zednik?
I need to know whether or not to get rid of Zednik on my fantasy team, anyone know for sure who Zednik will play with?
