Indeed, man do i hate the international transfer window rule, they should be able to go wherever they want once their season ends, Shirokov;s season could theoretically end in the next 2 weeks, but he wont be allowed to come over here until the summer

Yeah that definitly sucks.

But with any luck, he will be at camp (hopefully 10 pounds heavier)

I was just looking at the prospect rankings and I must've zoned out the past few months. Where did Patrick Kane come from?

He's been there for a while actually.

He's one of like 6 guys who could easily go #1.

Ellis wins 6-3, Bernier had 2g 1a

S-Kings continue their march for a playoff spot
QUOTE (Dave Chappelle)
You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.

6. Out of all the Canuck prospects who have a chance of turning pro next season, and possibly playing for the Moose next year, who are you most excited about? Brett - Winnipeg, MB
I think it's difficult to narrow it down to one player because sometimes expectations exceed development. I think next year, the Canucks have a good crop of young players coming in, probably the biggest and the brightest that they've had in their time here, but we've had success. Guys have developed: Nathan McIver's developed, Mike Brown's developed, Jannik Hansen's developed. It's up to them to a certain point. They have some decent guys coming next year: Mason Raymond, the kid that plays in Brandon (Simak), maybe Luc Bourdon, Daniel Rahimi, who we might possibly see at the end of the year. I think they have a good crop of prospects, but there's not one guy in particular. They have Corey Schneider coming in from Boston College, which is a high-profile prospect. But I think you've got to be careful not to put too much expectations and see where guys play out.

Interesting answers, he is expecting Raymond and Schneider to turn pro next year.............

who are you talking about?.

I highly doubt both of them will turn Pro next year. Although, I do think Raymond will leave school early....

- They say that everything happens for a reason - I'm still waiting - They say the good die young - I guess that's why you were chosen -

Why does everyone assume that the Moose will take all these juniors and college players onto their roster going into playoffs? Their team is pretty much set now. They are playing solid hockey and lead their conference. Pending injuries I don't see any significant moves.

Well if a player like Grabby or Bourdon gets eliminated early I can see them coming and playing for the Moose.

Bourdon >>>>>>>>> Coloumbe, McIvar, Fortunus, ok all Moose D
Grabby >>>>>>>>>> Reid ok almost all Moose snipers besides Jaff/Moran

Thanks to mr7 for the sig

I see you're excited.

How old is Koltsov? I found it strange that he wasn't included in the Hockey News future watch.

Speaking of that mag it would probably make more sense to publish post trade deadline with the updates in it. i.e. Nillson and O'Marra in Edmonton as opposed to NY Islanders.

Also: In their reflection on their past rankings of 5 years ago (02') and 10 years ago (97') they were laughably bad. Just goes to show you how much a guessing game this whole prospect thing is.

Not really, Grabner could begin his pro hockey career once the Chiefs are bounced and Mason is 2 years older
