He's only 7 behind the leader even after missing 12 games to flu/injury.
Leads me to wonder why people are saying things like.
"He should have more goals for a 17'th overall draft pick"
Seems to be doing fairly well to me :? .

14th overall.
And its the much more defensive WHL.
The OHL/QMJHL are just all offence.
I'd be very happy if he gets to 40 goals this year.

Probably 2-3 years.
Needs a year or two in the AHL to learn Defence and how to play against men.
Needs to gain about 10-15 pounds.
He has 32goals and 12 assists for 44 points in 47 games.

He will get the 10 game tryout next season, if he can play with our top-six...he'll stick around. If not, then he'll be with the Moose.

He would most likely be in the top 3 if he hadn't missed those games. I would really like to see what he could do with some solid linemates. With a good set up man Grabby would be pretty deadly.

With better teammates he would have a few more assists.
Needs a good playmaking centre though.
Well if he played those 12 games at the same goals per game he would have 40 goals and be the leader.

Hamill is a small centre, only 5'10.5.
Sutter or Veillieux would be a better fit at 6'3 and 6'5 respectively.
Don't worry, our focus is centres in this draft.
