If he wants to use it that's fine. I was just thinking if nobody was going to use it then I would have liked to. But it's not that big of a deal. No worries.

Luc Bourdon ranked #24 on HF's TOP 50 PROSPECTS

Quote

24. Luc Bourdon, D - Vancouver Canucks

It's been quite the season of change for the rugged blueliner out of Shippigan, NB. He started the season with nine games for the Canucks, where he acquitted himself nicely. Then he enjoyed a great deal of success with the QMJHL's Moncton Wildcats, performing at a point-per-game clip with 14 points in 13 games. A mid-season trade to Cape Breton has curtailed his offensive production, with only five points in 21 games, but he's showing an increasing willingness to play the physical game - a key point in his continued recovery from a debilitating ankle injury suffered last season.

http://www.hockeysfu...m/articles/9509

EDIT: FYI he was ranked #23 last season. Also I know a lot of you don't hold HF's opinion to high but I think the TOP 50 is usually well put together.

Schneider's in the 30's

I think the fact he only moved 1 spot from the previous season despite a far worse offensive season stands as testament to the quality of his play, and growth in his own end (defensive game)
QUOTE (Dave Chappelle)You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.

I'm excited! Raymond's coming! I can't wait to see him play, should be exciting...
Just do it, Lou.

24 is still good seeing how a lot of talented players were drafted in the last draft.

not a bad year, all those players could one day be NHL'ers. Bourdon and Raymond are the locks. Bliznak and Butcher would be 3rd-4th line energy players. Vincent will be hard pressed to make it here with all of our goalies. He could be an NHL backup though. Fredheim could be a 5th-6th defensemen

Correct me if I'm wrong but if Raymond signed with the Canucks why would he sign an ATO with the Moose?

He didn't sign with the Canucks. He signed with Manitoba, but we still own his rights. I think.

If you read the paragraph at the top it states:

Quote

Players who have signed with an American Hockey League team have agreed to an amateur tryout contract. An ATO allows an AHL team to sign a college player whose season is over after the league's trade deadline.

And since Raymonds signing is listed under the NHL section and not the AHL section I am assuming he signed with the Canucks and not the Moose. So from what I read on insidecollegehockey.com Raymond has a Canucks contract, not an ATO.

It would be fun to have Bliznak play for Vancouver. From Giants to Canucks (and probably some Moose/Salmon Kings in-between).

Question about Raymond contract. Is it a two way?. Say the Canuck want to give Nazzy or **Insert top 6 forward here**.... say the last one ot two games of the year, if they are locked to win the Divison. Could the Nucks call up Raymond, or is he only on a one-way deal?

- They say that everything happens for a reason - I'm still waiting - They say the good die young - I guess that's why you were chosen -
