Um, why would anyone care about goalie points...

Ellis 18 saves on 20 shots.

SK down 2-1.

Mcvicar is the backup on the other team.

Moose win 3-2. D-mac with 24 saves for his 20th win of the season.

Kings win 3-2. Ellis makes 29 saves for his 18th win.

That's great news. Just what the Stars did with Smith, had him learn from Turco...and now they have two solid goaltendes.

What the f*** happened to Grabner, he's missed the last 3 games. I want to see him get to 40. He's got the Winter Hawks as his last chance tomorrow night.
From some guy sitting 2 rows behind me at a David Copperfield show in Vegas:

"Hey David, can you make my wife disappear?"

OOPS! I knew toxic had a Grabner avatar but didn't think it would look so much like the one I made. I'll make up another one.

Also it was good to hear what Nonis had to say during After Hours. Like he has stated before he said that he wants to build up the reserve list. Good to hear he wants to sign Schneider.

I haven't looked to see if this was mentioned yet, but yahoo says that Mason Raymond signed a contract on Saturday.

Its in the Recent Injuries & Transactions section.

Old news...

He got a 3 year entry level contract, and will start playing with the Moose very soon.

Despite what I've said earlier, I wouldn't mind seeing Raymond being given a call up for at least one game - just to see how he responds to the jump, and to see if he can inject any new energy into the third line. It may be unlikely though, given the call-up limitations between now and the end of the season.

What's with the camo jerseys on the Moose?

An awesome line for the future:

Raymond - Kesler - Grabner

All three of them are very fast.  Raymond the playmaker, Grabner the goal scorer, and Kesler the grinder that plays defensive and chips in some goals as well.  They would create numerous chances because of their speed.

You read my mind. I've always thought that trio would be a perfect line.

Kesler shouldn't be a center. He's average on faceoffs (although that can improve) he's abysmal as far as passing and his hands are far too excited the closer he gets to the net.

Raymond may be a good playmaker but you want your center to be able to get the puck to the goal scorer. I think Kesler should be a defensive winger on a scoring line or if a center it would be with offensively inept players.

Saturday night was Military Night at the MTS Centre where the Moose honoured our Canadian Forces by wearing a special camouflage jersey that had a patch with the names of all Canadian Soldiers killed in Afghanistan as well as a yellow ribbon to show their support for our troops. A crowd of 9,684 fans, the third largest of the season at the MTS Centre, took in the game which was preceeded by a special ceremony to honour the Canadian soldiers who lost their lives overseas.
