So how are spokane's chances in the playoffs?
cause I want Grabby to come up  :P
They're against Everett, sooooo I wouldnt count them to go the second round.....

Anything can happen...

Everett and Spokane went 4-4 this season.
Grabner had 4-G 2-A.

Everett should take this easily with Irving in net, however Spokane could catch them off guard and move on to the second round.

ah well Good and bad :P
maybe grabner will dominate the series. :D

If only Grabner got traded to the Wheat Kings or Giants, so the 4 Memorial Cup teams can look like this
Giants-Bliznak
Brandon-Simek,Grabner
Cape Breton-Bourdon
Some OHL team

Can Raymond be confirmes as playing on tuesday? Last I heard he was reporting to the moose by Sunday and since he wasn't in last nights win I'm hoping he'll be there for tuesday.

I would imagine they'd want to have him practice a few times to know the new system he's entering into before. I wouldn't count on him playing Tues, but maybe later in the week.
and does anyone have the details of raymonds details?all i read in the newspaper is that they signed him and he was sent to the moose...

Signed an ATO.
Reporting to Moose tommorow.
No news on whether he will play.

Would be awesome to see a line with Hansen and Raymond on it.

Ellis Called up to the Moose.

"The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they recalled goaltender Julien Ellis from the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.

Ellis, 21, has appeared in six games with the Moose so far in his first season of professional hockey. He has compiled a record of 0-6-0 with a goals against average of 3.71 and a save percentage of .885. He has also appeared in 34 games this year with the Salmon Kings where he is 18-14-2 with a 3.31 goals against average and a .910 save percentage and was named to the ECHL All-Star Game.

Ellis was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks with their sixth choice, 189th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

Yeah even though this is a good opportunity for Ellis I feel bad for Flats. He really is a major part of that team and his years as an AHL goalie are limited. If the Moose end up winning the Calder Cup (which they have a great chance at) it would be too bad that an injury kept Flats from being a part of it.

That is a fantastic mask. Is that Flaherty or Ellis?

Has Ellis dropped the -Plante? Maybe he should keep it and try to channel Jaques.

Cry me a river.

I understand what he had given to the Moose organization, but it's really time for him to retire.

Oh yeah you're right he should retire, I mean 17-9 is a horrible record. Much worse than Ellis' 0-6 record.

Oh, and if you payed attention to that team prior to this season you would know just how incredible Flaherty is during the playoffs and what a HUGE blow that is to the team.
