no, possibly tommorow
What about Rahimi? Did his team in Europe get eliminated from the playoffs?
Not yet, still has atleast a few games to play.

I don't think you need to do much hopeing, if they win their first round, it will be an miracle.

You think it would actually be bad for all these players to join the Moose?
Grabner, Bourdon, Rahimi, Raymond, Simek (?) to mess up the chemistry they got going right now? New system and etc compared to the Junior leauges , college and Euro leagues?

1. Bourdon will be fine
2. Rahimi will be fine, hes going from a Men's League into another Men's league, and one playoff to another
3. Simek will hopefully spend 1 more year in Junior
4. I hope Grabner spends 1 more year in Junior

I don't think there is room on the Moose for 4 more players. They need defenseman so Bouron and Rahimi would be welcomed additions. Simek/Grabner well that would depend on injuries.

I don't think all of those players will be on the Moose by the END OF THIS SEASON.
The D-MAN:
Rahimi will be on the Moose roster by the end of the Moose season (or atleast that is what the Canuck staff wants.
If Bourdon's team is bounced in the first round (which is NOT likely, his team is expected to be a contender for the Mem. Cup) he will be sent to the farm guaranteed.
I think people overrated the Moose Defence. Edler is bascially their #1 D-man. After him, Tremblay is their best and he at time this year has been very medeocor playing for the Moose. Granted, it seems their Defence is by committee, and they usually seem to get the job night in and night out. If Edler or Tremblay went down though, I would be alittle concerned if I was the Moose GM.
Forwards:
Simek: I believe that he is the odd-man out. Simek's team (The Wheat Kings), have a damn good team and I expect them to go far the WHL playoffs. I also believe that with the addition of Raymond, he basically took Simek's spot if he was too make the jump this season. Grabner will be ahead of him in the Moose picking order. Thus, I HIGHLY doubt a team that is #1 in their division will want to add THREE green rookies. Finally, Simek's Defence play needs alot of work at the Pro level, not that Grabner is a hell of alot better in his Defensive play, although it has improved over the course of this season.
Grabtastic: If the Cheifs get bounced in the first round, I would suggest that Grabner be put on the Moose roster. He has the speed to fit in at the Pro level, and like I said about Simek, Again I believe the Moose would not want three Green rookies. As well, Grabner appears to be the more highly regarded prospec,t ahead of Simek in the picking order for what their needs would be, and I don't believe Simek even has a contract.
With that said, the 2007-2008 Moose WILL have BOTH Grabner & Simek. Quote me.

Hence why the Canucks have not signed Jaffray to a contract yet. The top 6 forward positions for the Moose next year could be filled with youth prospects. I like Jaffray but as of right now this is what the team could look like:
Moran is signed
Hansen is signed
Simek will sign
Grabner will sign
Reid is signed
Goren is still signed
Chouinard could be there for salary cap purposes
