Anyways . . . What constitutes a good Canadian Kid?, a Family could very well move from say, Sweden when their child was very young, say 1, and have him grow up in Canada and everyone would call him a "Good Canadian Kid" .

Is "Good Canadian Kid" a code word for 6'2 230 pound steroid fed monsters who don't have a problem throwing punches at the first guy who gives them a check?.

I myself prefer skilled forwards who can take/give a check but would rather look to make a fancy play.

Hell, look at the Sedins, they battle it out in the corners . .is that not what the model "Good Canadian Kid" is suppose to be?, a hard nosed grinder who can put the puck in the net?.

Center has to be a priority but i still suspect that Nonis will trade for a NHL ready top six forward before the trade deadline. Just hope it doesn't cost to much!

Look, I only said Canadian kid as a generality. To expand on what I meant by that, Canadian kid was only a term in there that meant that he was willing to get physical and create space. The more space Grabner has, the better. Now if there's a european in this draft that can do that, I'm all for drafting him. That's what I was trying to convey.

I agree with what you're saying here, with the big ice in Europe there isn't much need for some players to open the ice up. Canadian centres might be more adept to that style.

It was short. Basically just says that he rebounded from the public criticism and scored 5 goals in 2 games. Good to see some positive media attention.
I think either the Sun or the Province should do an article on the prospects. Just an informative article on how each prospect is doing. Like toxics first page article. Actually, toxic why don't you just offer to right an article yourself, send it in and see what they think. I think it would be interesting and the prospects would receive more widespread recognition.
