I'd like to see:

Sedin-Sedin-Pyatt
Cooke-Mo-Koltsov
Naslund-Kesler-Hansen
Burrows-Cowan/Linden-Linden/Cowan
Rypien

Ohlund-Sopel
Mitchell-Bieksa
Krajicek-Salo
Tremblay

Try Koltsov as a winger (speed, offensive, etc)
Have Edler and Bourdon on the Moose to develop
Koltsov is a defenceman

Creditz to lovekesler for my 'frick-frack'ian sig!

He understands that.

He is suggesting maybe try this guy as a forward seeing as how we have a our top 6 almost set and Koltsov has great offensive insticts, speed, skill, passing, etc.

I for one would be very surprised if Hansen played as a regular next season. I would give him another year with the Moose with maybe a few call ups here and there before he steps in full time.

The only current prospects who may have a chance at getting some solid ice time in the NHL next season are Edler, Bourdon and maybe Raymond. Kolstov is now a longshot because of the Salo deal but he should be able to step in as a regular if that's what it came to. Either way don't expect a mob of prospects to lead the Canucks to the cup next season. Young guys will be eased in to the system as they become NHL ready.

Indeed.

I really want to see Koltsov on this team though.

I can see Hansen on the team next year, he was the absoloute FINAL cut last training camp.

Call me crazy but I for one like that idea.

He is a smallish player with good offensive skills, sounds like a perfect new age forward to me.

How bout this

Sedin/Sedin/Pyatt
Nazzy/Kesler/Raymond
Cooke/Morisson/Cowan
Burrows/Rypien/Linden

Ohlund/Bourdon
Mitchell/Kraijeck
Salo/Edler
X

With the X i'd take Fitzpatrick. Very capable as the 7th D

Give Grabner a year in the AHL to develope his defensive game at a higher level. I'd like to see Hansen in the lineup, but I think it makes more sense to have Pyatt with the Sedins and Raymond would look really good on that 2nd line. Cowan has been solid. I see no reason not to re-sign him.

Sopel WANTS to sign here.

Raymond will not be a Regular next season.

Try something like

D. Sedin (3.575) H.Sedin (3.575) Pyatt (1.1 million)
Nazzy (6) Mo (3.2) UFA???
Cooke (1.5) Kesler (1.3) Hansen (450)
Burrows (475) Linden (625) Cowan (475)

Bieksa (550) Mitchell (3.5)
Ohlund (3.5) Salo (3.5)
Edler (550) Krajicek (625)

7th D-man: 450,000

Luongo: (6.500)
Backup: Pylon (450,000)

Also, I doubt BOTH Bourdon AND Edler will be in the lineup as a regular. Bourdon may have a better camp then Edler (or Edler may have a better camp then then Bourdon.....) Thus, the "kid" who has the best camp will take the roster spot.

Whoops. Didn't really look at the D. I'd use Bieksa instead of Bourdon. Give him a year in the AHL. Use for callups. My bad on that 1.

Trade Krajicek.

Raymond played mostly LW. Although he can play RW and centre

what i want is
Sedins Sedins Carter
Naslund Morrison Pyatt
Raymond Kesler (UFA player, Hansen or Grabner if he is ready)
Burrows Green Linden

and good to know that raymond is flexible on his position though!

The reason i have those lines is due to the recent signing of sami salo, carter will sure wants to come back and plays with the sedins. He probably would not demand much, so we can most likely afford him.

Pyatt is not going to make the same mistake like carter did, he will sign for a reasonable raise

A team without Cowan is hardly a team at all.

Ellis = re-assigned to Victoria

He's gonna get a real chance to prove himself in the playoffs now

Manitoba will prolly dump Groumet-Morris if Schneider turns pro, so Schneider will play for the Moose

Vincent will either get plenty of R&R or loaned to some other ECHL team that needs him
